The people at CC are some of the chillest people around. It isn't really about looks for most people given the fact that nearly everyone's personality is so big.

Colorado College students vote “Yes” on their college, and overall they appreciate and enjoy the time they spend at the school. The climate, social opportunities, intense academics, and the chance to become involved in a variety of activities even as a first-year student sways visitors within moments. With the caveat that a few students do transfer (usually due to the intense Block Plan), incoming students and those planning to apply should drop in for a visit, either over a morning and afternoon, or overnight. More than most other colleges, CC earns the respect of its current students and graduates for the training they receive in many areas, which will serve them throughout life. Aside from social and academic elements, CC makes amazing speakers and activities available. Recently, sexual assault education has been a hot topic, and speakers from a variety of assault response groups have been speaking to groups of students in the residence halls. Additionally, Nobel laureates frequently drop in to dispense pearls of wisdom. Best yet, with all the grants and funding available for student projects, rarely a night passes without a student giving a presentation about their adventures hiking in Tibet, helping immigrants survive at the US-Mexico border, or interning in the Antarctic. It’s possible to get an education nearly anywhere, but to get an experience as well, CC seems to be the choice of its students.

"I love being at CC. I can’t see myself anywhere else. The people are great, the Block Plan is great, and it’s where I need to be. As a senior, I’ve learned so much here, and it’s because of the atmosphere that CC provides. With the exception of a few things, I would recommend anyone who is interested to come to Colorado College and check it out."

"I give my full endorsement to this school. However, like any school, the atmosphere has to fit with the student. It’s not for all people, but come and look. Within 10 minutes you’ll know if this is where you want to be."

"CC is a great place to be. A very intensive learning process starts from day one with the small class sizes. The liberal arts degree seems very useful. There are tons of activities, and it’s easy to get involved. The town is nice and block breaks guarantee you at least six awesome vacations a year. Who can beat that?"
