Report Card
As an English major, I have been lucky to love almost all of my professors, as well as the seminar leaders. Several stand out—in particular, my professor who was about 70-years-old and came to lectures wearing short tight miniskirts with knee-high, black leather, four-inch heel, stiletto boots. She would comfortably lean against a table at the front of the lecture hall, or perhaps perch herself on the table, and then talk to us, rather than at us. It was a highly intellectual environment, yet simultaneously laid-back and comfortable. I loved her!

Overall Experience

Yale - New Haven, CT

Students are enthusiastic about their love for Yale. Some even claim that they have never been happier in their lives. Although students often complain about their piles of work or their small dorm rooms, in the end, all these problems fade into the background of the overall picture. Instead, all they see are the gorgeous buildings, amazing classes, brilliant faculty, and endless lists of cool things to do.

When it comes down to it, however, students are
in love with the people they have had the opportunity to meet. Students at Yale are smart, easy-going, dynamic, fun, interesting, and amazingly talented.
When they get together, they have fascinating discussions and produce incredible work. At Yale, you have the opportunity to grow academically, as well as personally. Most Yalies agree that this personal development is the most important and rewarding part of their college experience.
