What made you choose your school? The upside-down curriculum, small class size, the beautiful campus and location, and the programs offered in student life such as the Center for Service & Civic Engagement to make me feel included and welcome.
What activity makes you happy? Service work makes me feel most happy, fulfilled and engaged.
What is your biggest pet peeve? When people leave hair in my hairbrush (because I KNOW it's not me doing it).
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I have collected PEZ dispensers since I was a kid and have one for every day of the year.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book is currently "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides because it is the last one I finished. My favorite movie is "Mystic Pizza" because I get excited when I see places I recognize back home and I love Julia Roberts' movies. My favorite TV show is "Mad Men" because it is relevant to my major and I love the time period of the 1960s for fashion, music and pop culture.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I'm really excited to spend American Thanksgiving in China this year with a favorite professor and 15 classmates. China is so large and mysterious, their culture is so different, and I'm excited to learn more about it and see the Great Wall.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would love to fly.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? Honestly, it is my dream to renovate a house. I am in love with architecture and interior design. So with $1mil I would buy and renovate a house, decorate it with mid-century modern furniture, and buy a dog to make it feel like home.
What are your plans for after graduation? To get a good paying job relevant to my major - what else?
