What made you choose your school? I liked how William and Mary was small enough to make me feel a strong sense of community while large enough to give me the room I needed to explore new and different creative outlets and extra-curricular activities!
What activity makes you happy? I love writing for HerCampus magazine (an online magazine that reaches out to William and Mary women, in my case, though a comedic weekly column). I also love taking a break from the sometimes heavy workload by watching endless 90s throwback romantic comedies with my sorority sisters.
What is your biggest pet peeve? I hate it when people leave lights or electronics on when they are not using them (I'm a grown up and have to pay for my own utilities now, woe is me).
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I lived in India for 5 weeks this past summer!
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? As an English major, I've found that I can't really answer the book thing because I have a new one every semester (I'm a dork, I know), but The Bell Jar is definitely one of them! I love the movie "All I Wanna Do", which is a 90s teen comedy (go figure) about sassy prep school girls who don't want to make their school co-ed. It's funny and empowering! Also, I love the show "30 Rock" because Tina Fey is my beauty icon.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would go to Paris because it's beautiful and artsy and I love baguettes.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would freeze time so I could take cat naps and not feel guilty about my inefficiency for a change.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would pay off my loan, buy a hut for a house in the Caribbean and straight chill for the rest of my life.
What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to teach and do none of the things I mentioned above (except for the loans part).
