What activity makes you happy? I absolutely love to cook, especially for other people. Experimenting with a new recipe is even better.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Being late. I'll be somewhere thirty minutes early rather than be thirty seconds late.
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I was born in Vancouver, Canada, so I have dual citizenship.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book is "Jane Eyre" because it's full of mystery and suspense and a little terror that you wouldn't expect. My favorite movie is "Shawshank Redemption," partly because Morgan Freeman is my favorite actor and partly because the story line is just so fantastic. "Top Chef" is my all time favorite TV show. It inspires me to try new recipes and the contestants are hilarious.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would go to New Zealand. I have family there and would love to see them. It's also such a beautiful country full of awesome activities, like hiking and bungee jumping.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I'd want to read minds. So many people don't speak their mind that it would be nice just to know everyone's thoughts.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would pay back my parents for college, give some to the rest of my family and friends, and build myself a gourmet kitchen.
What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to go to law school and hopefully marry my love of writing and my love of debate into a successful career.
What made you choose your school? I chose the University of Chicago because of its beautiful campus, its location in the city of Chicago, the great people I met on my campus visit, and the opportunity I had to play Varsity Volleyball.
