What made you choose your school? I didn't realize what a gem UNC Wilmington was until I took a tour of the amazing campus. Everyone was so inviting, it's a big and growing (not to mention very pedestrian friendly AND "green" with lots of beautiful natural elements) campus but small enough to allow for individual student showcase, and offered a variety of majors. I didn't know what I wanted to study when I went to college, so I knew UNCW was a good fit because they provided strong programs in any area I could be interested in.

What activity makes you happy? I thoroughly enjoy sleeping, but I also love hanging out with friends, reading and swimming.

What is your biggest pet peeve? When people, including myself, are not punctual.

What is something about you that might surprise someone? I'm a pretty talented tap dancer.

What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? My favorite book is, of course, any of the Harry Potters. They were a vital part of my childhood and were among the first of the "big books" I devoured as an adolescent. My favorite movie is 'Becoming Jane' because the perspective of Jane Austen in relation to her writing was beyond intriguing. My favorite TV show is 'The Office' because the characters are hilarious, yet relatable.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would love to go all throughout Italy over a few week period, from the Tuscan countryside to romantic Venice.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I would want to have the ability to read minds, but only when I want to! That would quickly grow annoying if it was like a radio feed I couldn't shut off.

If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would put about half in savings (boring, I know), give some to my family to assist with the education of my two younger sisters, and put plans in action to travel (either to Italy, see above, or to Iceland to see the Northern Lights).

What are your plans for after graduation? At the moment I'm keeping my options open and haven't set any definite plans. I'm hoping to find an editorial assistant job or a copyeditor position at any publishing house or company. I know for sure that I want to move to a different location, somewhere that I've never lived before!
