What made you choose your school? Having the advantage to study abroad, possibly at no cost, was the best thing. I have always wanted to travel to London for as long as I can remember, and the possibility of studying there for a full semester/year is an opportunity I can't refuse !!
And the vibe at Webster just made me feel like I belonged there, like it was a second home. It is small enough to be personalized and 'homey', while large enough to have a diverse student population, and have options in your class schedule. No matter who you are, I think Webster can be a second home for anyone as long as you be yourself.
What activity makes you happy? My favorite hobby is cooking. That is where I put all my creativity juices into. Not to mention that it pays off with yummy, scrumptious food !! When I am not doing that, I also enjoy writing, dancing and transferring my mind's energy to the pen.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? London. Hands down. I am a big fan of British Comedies, Literature and anything British. I find it fascinating that a country that looks, and sounds, so much like the United States is so much different culturally. Not to mention that the place is absolutely immersed in history, a subject I love to discuss.
What are your plans for after graduation? I hope someday go through law school, pass the bar, and practice law in a courtroom. But before all of that, I hope to get myself a stable job with my degrees. Graduate/Law school doesn't come cheap, you know !
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? The ability to travel through time, meet those historical figures from our past would be an honor, not to mention exciting, and the ability to fly. The closest I have ever been to flying is the Batman ride at six flags, and it was amazing !! I loved the adrenaline rush and the wind blowing through my hair !
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it? I'd use it to pay off my college tuition, save up for law school, deposit it for my family and self, then donate a large amount of it to children in need. Children are our future, why should we neglect and put them in the dark ??
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show and why? I love a variety of entertainment. I never get bored. But some of my favorites are House MD, the novel Gathering Blue, and the movie V for Vendetta. They bring twists to everyday classic plots. Spin offs, parodies, twists or campy plots of originals always keep old classical plots alive.
What is something about you that might surprise someone? I am closely related to the former Missouri Senator Christopher Bond, and among the rest of my heritage, I am 50% Romanian. My father came over to the United States when he was 9.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Unnecessary Drama. I saw quite a lot of it coming from an all girls high school. Uses up too much of one's energy, I think.
