Its different for everyone. Myself being a theatre major, choosing the right school is KEY. But for someone like a math major, its just perfectly suitable.

Its an very old school, but considering this, they have done a lot to keep it in good maintenance.

I could use more money, but I have been decently given scholarships.

I'm in theater, so there is always something for me to do. But as far as finding fun outside campus, you have to be creative.

I don't typically attend sports events

Faculty are top-notch and the environment is great. I wish we had a little more guidance on internship placements, but otherwise I've been really happy.

Dining services provides some options and the food is pretty good. Most meal options are very carb-heavy, but the salad bar is extensive. Quite a few fast food and local restaurants within walking or short driving distance from campus.

Parking on campus can be a pain only because of current campus construction. Otherwise, it's fine.

You really don't see a lot of drug usage on campus. Most people like to drink and that's really only on weekends.
College Sophomore 2013-10-24T20:17:24Z
There really is no transportation options, but it's such a small campus that there doesn't need to be.

As long as you live on campus, the computer labs are fairly close. There are two 24 hour computer labs and the computers and printers in each are pretty nice. Also, you get credit for printing that is part of what you pay in tuition and it's a good amount. I have never reached my printing limit as there is quite enough each semester. Reliability is good too because you can save stuff to what they call an x drive and even if the computer crashes it is backed up and can be restored. Plus the computers are all pretty fast. Laptops on the other hand can be slower with how many users are on the wifi all at once.

There is not much to do in town. All the hiking, skiing, sand dunes, etc are all 20 minutes away or more. Plus any other things like mall shopping are a two hour or more drive depending on which city you want to go to.

If you like cold and wind most of the school year then this is a great place for you. Otherwise research other schools. Although, the outdoor activities are almost endless, the cold and wind can sometimes be discouraging.

Depending on the department you major in and what interests you, it can be great or it can be mediocre.

At times the computers can be slow, and it can get crammed when it comes time for final papers to be turned in

Professors are very good. There is small class sizes which gives students to meet and converse with professors one on one. Popular study areas like computer labs and what not need to be expanded because most of the time it is hard to get a space to do homework.
College Junior 2013-05-28T00:09:09Z
I honestly have never herd of any kind of transportation for students other than athletes.
College Junior 2013-05-28T00:08:18Z
The aspects of the pre-med program at Adams State is very good! The building all the classroom and labs are in has been recently remodeled and bettered for the students!
College Senior 2013-05-24T17:42:38Z
School is not allowed to use drugs and alcohol on campus. I have not seen bad drug scene at my school. But I heard that athletic students use drugs and alcohol more frequently then other students.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
