Safe

i never had an incedent or felt unsafe on campus even late night for the night classes that i'm taking. the campus is well lit and you even see a night bunny hopping around from time to time. security can be seen roving around in their jeeps but it almost as if we dont need them there. the school is also emmaculately clean and beautified with a thrilling landscape. kudos to whomever maintains the upkeep of the school!

Parking Sucks

the lots at adelphi are always packed since this is such a small campus and a small college. parking spaces are so tiny that you hae to come sideways out of your car most days because the next person has taken up every available inch of their space. this isannoying and lave potential for alot of dens and scrapes on your beautiful paint job. you better get a parking decal or you'll be charged a $25 fine for parking in the lot which sucks especially when you're a student who pays the $15,000 tuition each semester.

Nursing Program

the program is fairly difficult and requires alot of attention and time. even the art electives that i'm taking are swallowing all of my time but i know that this is an accredited school and once i have my degree from here it will be worth it. the work load from most teachers can be very heavy and this program is difficult to complete if you have other obligations like a child or job such as i do. alot of effort must be put into your school work and the professors dont take it easy on you just because you have a certain difficulty in circumstance (well most dont). the extra push does help you prioritize and pull strong for the grades needed to remain in the program and become a competant RN. a score of C+ in a class is considered failure.
