There are a couple locations for computer use around campus. They can fill up around midterms and finals pretty quickly though. It is suggested that students bring their own laptops though because they are utilized in the classrooms as well. And the school offers free WiFi that is accesible anywhere on campus.

All students park off-campus and must ride a shuttle to the main school lot. There are always multiple shuttles running at all times and the drivers are always curteous and friendly.

Beside the library we are required to have our own laptops. So that is more convient than trying to share desktops

Very Few Options – i personally commute to the school but from what i know there is not much options for school housing. there is one location and it looks kind of old. people have told me it is nice inside but for the price i do not think it is worth it. you are better of seeking non campus housing around the area.

florida hospital college of health science is a fairly small campus. its behind florida hospital so there is no parking available to students. the parking lot is located away from campus. the school provides bus transportation from the parking lot to the campus and it is a pretty good system. buses come right after the other so you never have a problem being late. parking is not a big issue.

The computers are crowded at crunch time, ex. finals midterms. However, each student is required to have their own laptop, which makes it a little bit easier that you can sit in your dorm and use your own computer.

it really depends on who you hang out with. each group has a drug of choice, but its usually alcohol or drugs, especially weed. as long as you hang out with the right people you can steer clear or them.

Barely Need a Car!!! If you live in the housing provided by the college, there's a bus system that runs to and from school. If you have clinical rotations, the badge you receive will allow you to park in the hospital garage for free and school is walking distance from there. Parking decals are inexprensive and you only need them if you plan to use the bus system.

Hah Good Luck. There's barely any good clubs around here unless you go downtown Orlando and not many on campus go out. House parties are better though. STUDY, DON'T PARTY AND THROW AWAY YOUR EDUCATION!

I had to constantly review my financial aid and ledger. I found several mistakes at my expense and it was quite tedious to resolve them. The classes themselves are good and most of the professors are too. However, everything I was told by the distance learning enrollment specialist was not true. I had to take an additional class and my graduation date delayed; because although I was told that all my credits would transfer, they didn't. Double-check everything!

FHCHS Safety – I'm a distance learning student so I've never been on-campus. I've talked to other members though and they feel quite safe.

Shuttle Buses Are So Slow! It's required for students to park at the Calvary lot which is a few miles away from the campus. You really have to plan to be early to school since you never know when the next one will show up. It can be really aggravating!

Scholarship Availability at FHCHS – Every so often the school website posts new scholarships that are available to students. I really enjoy the fact that the school keeps the students posted on scholarship availability. I applied to a scholarship last year which I obtained and it payed for this summer semester's classes. We were even provided a ceremony banquet for the scholarship.

I actually do not live on campus or within the campus housing so I can not personally rate it. I do however have friends that live in campus housing and some say they like it but others say that they hate it.

Technology at FHCHS – The school requires everyone to purchase a labtop. It was an expensive laptop that in my opinion was not worth the money. The computer is however reliable for my school work. We also have a warranty on it through Dell. I think there was an issue with these computers however because the contract with Dell was not renewed for the next semester students. The Wi-Fi is great here however it does not work for everyone. Sometimes the systems creash while taking a test which is really stressful but I know technology is not perfect. I did drop my laptop once and it shattered into pieces which I was suprised. I payed $1,200 on this lap top and so I expected the durability of it to be better. It was fixed though with the warranty on it. Although I like using my laptop at school, I feel that the school should not make it a requirement to purchase a laptop especially through them. Not everyone can afford it and I think a cheaper laptop would have sufficed. The only way that I was able to purchase this laptop was via a loan which comes to show that not everyone can afford laptops.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
