To be honest, I myself have not taken an online course but I have heard many good things about it

AIB is a college of business, therefore, every major there is business related. As a business administration major, I have classes with student who are majoring in something different but still business related.

my academic experience as a whole has been amazing. There's a friendly environment. Students are very friendly and social. Teachers interact with students very well. The administration does everything they can to help you become successful. The administration helped me stay at AIB by offering me scholarships given through AIB.

The most I've seen are athletes but other than that there are a variety of students; some from brazil, mexico, different states other than IOWA. Yet, everyone gets along great.

I love going to AIB. It's a small yet very comfortable college. Everyone including students and teachers are very friendly making it a safe environment.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
For a college, I thought it would be really expensive, but compared to other colleges it is somewhat cheap. Although I am on a monthly payment plan, and well the price is a bit high making it difficult each month especially in the winter when my dad no longer works

The only thing I hate and im pretty sure everyone else hates is having an early morning class. Other than that, classes are pretty good. Only an hour long and i'm done by 12:30.

AIB provides an amazing student center. There is always coffee and donuts or some type of treat to go along with coffee for students who need their daily cup of coffee. The gym is open during break hour and after school. There is also a workout facility with equipment that is new and very attractive.

I love the fact that AIB is like a private college. It's a small, beautiful campus. There are no worries about having to walk all across town just to get to class. Everything is in the same area. The campus size provides a more friendly campus. It gives students the opportunity to meet more people and become familiar with these people as well.

I would say AIB does an excellent job with their Career services program. In all my life, I had not known of any other college who offers this opportunity. AIB prepares us in our career field to get us students more involved and knowledgeable about our career and what it requires.

The Wi-Fi is a bit slow at times but other than that AIB provides a variety of resources that help us students be more prepared in class. We are provided with many different computer labs, tutors, also there is a career center which provides students at AIB an opportunity to work in the field that they are majoring.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel that the tuition is very high. It is more than double the community college tuition. Yes, it is a private university which makes it more expensive, but over $20,000 per year is a lot of money to spend for almost the same education. Also, they charge silly fees. A campus usage fee? For what? That, on top of a parking pass.. It gets ridiculous.

What I like most about this school is that they write your schedule for you. I have looked at other colleges and you have to try and formulate a schedule out of a workbook. At AIB your classes all start one right after the other and you don't have a lot of downtime between classes. This has been very helpful so that I can continue to work as I am enrolled in school.

I started as a Business Admin. major. I recently switched to an Accounting major. All of the classes transferred between majors. The professors are all very helpful and offer as much help as you need. They have all worked in their field and have advanced degrees in the field as well.

The Career Services are very in tune with each individual student and really focus on what the student can do to attain the job they want. They provide resume building tools, interview skills, and really help the student with monthly job postings.
College Junior 2013-06-20T22:11:21Z
They do a very good job to try and interact with us and figure out what we want. They meet every few weeks to discuss things and figure out new ways to figure out how to make us happier.
College Junior 2013-06-20T22:09:56Z
I have not taken any online classes yet, but the people who have say they are easy and user friendly.
College Junior 2013-06-20T22:02:50Z
They do a pretty good job of getting together with each student and helping them prepare their resumes to get a job. That is the most difficult part for most people to do so good thing their there to help us with it.
College Senior 2013-04-04T02:55:08Z
The resources on campus are pretty great considering how small of school we are. There is a gym and fitness center, student center in one of the housing units, library, and many campus activities that go on.
College Senior 2013-04-04T02:51:05Z
My school is a business school so the focus is on Business Administration and Accounting classes. The school does a great job with applying real life scenarious and offering classes that will allow us to be sucessfull later on.
College Senior 2013-04-04T02:47:47Z
We have computer labs in almost all of the academic buildings on campus. The printing is sometimes a little bit stalled and slow, but I am not complaining about my schools printers and/or computer network.
College Senior 2013-04-04T02:45:23Z
My school really does a great job at preparing students become well rounded and job ready. We're required to do community service as a part of graduating, which is something beneficial for us and also employers love seeing that you are willing to give back. Also the school posts job opportunities in the local area because the school has many partnerships and connections with local area businesses.
College Junior 2013-03-30T19:56:56Z
Printing on campus is easy, all computers are linked up to the correct printers, wireless access is simple, the network has occasional problems as with any other network, but most of the time it is extremely reliable. Computer labs are always accessible, if there are days that they are being used for class there is always a sign posted outside.
College Junior 2013-03-30T19:52:46Z
I took a term off from day classes and decided to try out the online courses. It was more responsibility as you have to work out your own study schedule and test schedule. Once I had a routine going it was easy to get the work done. The professors were always helpful, letting us know what hours they would be in their office for us to stop by or give them a call. Email wise they were always prompt in answering, also if they happened to go on vacation they would give us ample notice and who we could turn to in case we needed help with something.
College Junior 2013-03-30T19:42:43Z
It's a business focused school, what's nice about this is the fact that all the classes you take are related to your major. Whether it be accounting, international business, sales and marketing, or sports and event management it is all relevant to what you need to know in order to succeed in your career later on.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
