Business Major – There are many aspects to a business major, but the classes are not as bad as I thought they would be. I thought I would have had to take more math than I did and the classes are generally in the same area and that is very nice. I am also doing a work-study and that is very nice as well.

The students at my school are very opinionated. Some clubs show what they believe in but it doesn't seem like every one is completely against each other. Everyone seems to know each other and respects each other.

There is a special building just for a gym and other work out areas in there. The student center is a great building that has many helpful people who are always very nice. The library is in the student center and is very easy to access and there are lots of activities on campus and signs are up everywhere that say when and where an activity is taking place. The people at Aims are generally friendly and is a nice place to be.

No Issue – So far, i cannot see any issue that aims has with resource issues. They are well prepared and have handled any issues that have come up.

The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. But they tend to focus on the students who are in the front and know the answers instead of helping those who don't know and are struggling to comprehend the lesson.

The Flexibility of classes based on time and location is lacking more time convenient classes. I am a student who works full-time and goes to school full-time, and trying to find some of the classes I need to take around a time that works for me or online can be a huge hassel. I choose this school because I heard good things about it and because it is close to home, but it has been lacking in some areas for students in situations as myself.

No Functions for Evening Students – I attend school at night, so I cannot attend any extracurricular functions. I cannot provide a very accurrate review. It would be nice if they made some of these functions available to the students that have to take night classes due to full time day jobs, though.

ACC, Going Here Just Because It Is Available to Me – My review of the school really depends on what I am reviewing. I have had mostly positive experiences with my instructors, except for a particular English Comp teacher that was dumped by her boyfriend and decided to take it out on her students for the rest of the semester.
The administration is a little disorganized, so if you need anything done, you had better do it yourself. Some of the staff is very helpful, but others will treat you as an inconvenience. It is probably about what you'd expect from a community college.

Ease of Transfer – Aims guarantees credit transfers to any other instituation of your choice. All classes offered here are transferable. I never have to worry, even with the electives I am taking, that I will have to worry about retaking any of these classes

Faculty Is Great! Whenever you need help from a faculty member, they are there for you. They make the process of applying and registering for classes stress free. The instructors are also great, they teach materials that are interesting and easy to understand and are always there for you in need of extra help.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Finacial Aid – Its really good and helpful once you get to talk to someone. Its a long line and long wait to talk to a staff memeber. Other then the wait it is overall average to good. The tuition is pretty high for just a certification but is one of the best police academys in Colorado. So in the end the tuition will be worth it, and i will have a career for my family. I had to get a student loan to cover cost so thats tough, but i will be able to pay back one day with a solid career in law enforcement.

EVeryone especially the student government officers try their hardest to involve everyone in everything. It feels alot like at home and I have met a ton of new friends!!!

AWESOME AGAIN! My overall convenient expereience has been good. The only problem that I have had is getting the financial aid that I need. I had to pay full tuition for my first semester of college because there was a problem with my FAFSA!!!! I was not happy!

AWESOME AT MOST!!!! I have had mostly good experiences with this school. I am currently a college freshman fresh out of high school so im pretty new at the whole college thing. The only problem that I have had was with one teacher. The things that I have liked the most from this college so far is that they have a lot of fun things to go to that are free to the students. They also have a free gymn and weight room access which is nice!

Online Classes – The online classes are great because the teacher is in the class so if students have questions.

Some professors do not have much experience in the outside world; therefore it is hard for them to relate their teaching to the outside world.

Supplmental Instruction – There are student teachers that like to help out in Science classes because they are the tough classes where everyone tends to do bad. These science teachers help us out of class and have review sessions for us.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I always would recommended starting your tuiton early. The earlier you starting working on financial aid the easier and more scholarships you can receive.

As an older student I was happily surprised at the number of students close to my age range.(50) There is a large Hispanic part to the student body, but that just reflects on our area. The community has a large Hispanic part partially due to meat processing and other like jobs in the area. I haven't made many friends but I certainly haven't made any enemies. The school has many clubs and groups for the diversity of our students and also for people with disabilities like myself.

Online Evaluation – My experience has been great. You have to be disciplined and do the reading. Most classes have discussion groups that are mandatory participation. You can post questions to other students or the teacher. Its a good way to get different opinions. The teachers have been very available although some require appointments. There is a lot of home work, but it is manageable. Most require just 1 classroom visit at the beginning of the semester
Sorry, there are no reviews.
