I have taken a couple of online courses and I have nothing bad to say about them. The teachers always responded through email very quickly and thoroughly. Also, the content was not to difficult to understand. The directions were written very well.

Aims has a large computer lab and the printing is very reliable. However, the network can seem slow at times or hard to connect to. That is why I prefer to use their computers on campus.

I have not yet had a bad professor at Aims. There is a great variety of classes including a new one which I am going to take next semester which is the Sci-Fi course. The registration process was very easy and timeless. It takes me very little time to re-register for more courses. The workload can be challenging but never too much for my own good. Also, there is a great tutoring center which I do spend a lot of time at. Finally, I have been inducted into Phi-Theta-Kappa and Sigma Delta Kappa which my college supports.

I love Aims Community College because the teachers there really want to help students and the class rooms are very small so students can get one on one time with the teachers. Also they an tutoring service that is very helpful and always there for you.

Every student in my class has a labtop to use. Also at the student center there are computers to use for studying or doing homework.

I really like all that Aims has to offer. The gym is nice with a decent amount of work out equipment and a really nice basketball court. The library is great and there are a lot of staff there willing to help everyone out. I also like the campus activities, it's just a community college but there are so many ways to get involved.

My school consists of parents coming back to school and younger kids who don't really know what they want to do or where they want to go. It is a small environment and the classes are small. It's nice to be in class with a variety of people from different age groups. It is hard sometimes though because a lot of people don't take it very seriously and skip class a lot.

For general classes, you tend you have plenty of options, and returning students get to register first, so you tend to get the class schedule you want. More specialized courses are more difficult, as they are often only offered once every a semester, or even only once every other semester. However, my adviser has been helpful and flexible about elective substitutes.
Between a variety of class times and online classes, I've been able to work my class schedule pretty well around my minimum part time job.

Eh, most classes haven't been very challenging. I've enjoyed several of my classes, and usually have the help I need. I'm studying Communication Media with a focus on Digital Video Production, so my classes tend to be fairly specialized, which means I'm getting a lot of practical classes, like video editing and computer applications and sound design, but not as many general or deep though classes. I was only required to take intro to psych, lit, math, etc.

There are some great professors, and some not-so-great ones. The adviser for the Multimedia department would help, but not a ton. I would send detailed emails laying out clear questions, and he would email me back one or two words, forget about sentences. But I've had some professors very involved in their relationship with the students. A media professor has been very helpful and willing to work with me. I've had a couple of professor write excellent academic referrals for me when I applied for a study abroad program.
The college has plenty of activities and stuff to get involved in, but I never have.

There is lots of diversity at my school. Students vary from recent high school graduates to adults with full time jobs or children. There are lots of clubs for all types of ethnicity, religions even sexuality. No one is judged harsly for the way they look, sound or their personal preferences.

With class size being so small I feel that I am getting the best curriculum and personal relationship with the professors. Registration was easy and I completed it in no time. Special study options are available and I have some options even if I choose not to use them.

I chose this school because they are willing to do whatever needs to be done for their students to graduate and ultimately transfer to a 4 year college. Transferring credits seems to be nearly effortless.
