Very comfortable campus. Resources are posted everywhere so students have the knowledge where and when.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am local student and love the tuition cost compared to all other community colleges or Universities. I have received several scholarships through Aims Foundation Scholarships. Have to remember to apply for them

I have had an excellent experience with aims thus far. From enrolling to financial aid, advising, scheduling I have been nothing but pleased with my experience. I would recommend Aims to any student wanting to get started on a new career path. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and they care how your day is going. The instructors are wonderful and are very willing to help and they do a great job of making themselves available to you. Aims is an accredited college so credits transfer easily when you make your move to your bachelors.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Every semester since I started has been like pulling teeth with these people. It gets so frustrating, and when you try to talk to them about your concerns it feels like you are getting nothing but the run around syndrome. Very frustrating.

There is alot of resources for being a community college. The athletic cneter is free for just going to school. The library could have more variety but that is what computers are for now.I haven't noticed much campus activity going around. There is even a bistro and coffee shop.

Everything is really easy to access and it is free. There are never any problems with the wireless access and you have an automatic $5 card to print when you start.

I enrolled in Aims Community College in November 2012 into the Professional Pilot Program. There was a tremendous lack of information through out my first semester from almost every staff member I dealt with and I was constantly in reaction mode. I cannot and will not list every incident of incompetency. The VA has recently suspended the flight program and helicopter program because of a failure to do paperwork correctly, which would explain why I had the problems getting good information. If I knew what I know know when I enrolled I would have looked for another school. As far as academic subject matter I do not know how knowledgeable the professors are, I did end my semester with straight A's. At the end of summer semester I am transferring to what I hope will be a better choice for communication of requirements. As far as I am concerned school should not put people into reaction mode via a lack of knowledge of the requirements and expectations of a potential career choice. It seemed like they were interested in money without thinking through the aviation courses; what is expected and when its expected of the students.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is fairly easy to get ahold of financial aid. They offer scholarships that are easy access to get and have it on the school website for you to see and has the deadlines next to the scholarships. Aims is less expensive than other Universities because it is a community college but the price is still quite a lot of money for the eduacation that I am receiving to be honest. I do appreciate the scholarships I have received.

I am a undergraduate nursing student and I understand there are so many students in pursuit of the nursing career as well but the work just to get in to the program is beyond stressful. You aren't even in the program yet and by the time you get there you are basically two years in. It is just based on grades and nothing else. You have to be on top of things constantly and not fall behind if you are truly interested. Some nursing students don't even have the compassion for the career but they pass because of the grades. It is overwhelming but if you are intersted you will stick to your goal.

I like that most of the people are like me. People who are working towards a degree while working or managing a family. They are all very friendly and sharing the same interests while going to schools helps to make me feel welcomed.

they allow you to sign up for classes easily on your own on line

The campus has a lot of diversity. e all come from different places in llife; and many different ages. We are all there for the same reason and we help each other succeed. I would recommend Aims.

I love Aims Community College. At Aims they really keep it real and applied towards your future. This is not the college for you if you want high brow professors. The teachers are good and are excellent in there field. It's a great school to transfer from.

I haven't had any real experience.Only heard about it.

Aims has small classes so the teachers are more one on one. They have time to meet with every student in there office hours if you need help. Also, the teachers explain things if they need to and work at your pace.

The school facilities are good, they have a gym you can work out in so you don't have to pay. Also, the resources for classes are very easy to access. They also provide coffee stands for the students which is great so you don't have to leave the campus. The clubs at aims are very devoted and fun so you have something to look forward to.

The wireless network is always cutting off and after so much time it automatically logs you out. Also the computers take a while to load the internet.

Our community is VERY diverse! Men and women whom I have no idea what nationality to try to evaluate, have different accents and clothing interests. I see a lot of friendly groups with a mixture of ethnic (and most likely religious differences) nationalities, all of which have seemed friendly and pleasant. I have never left my college upset, angry, or depressed. Most students are very helpful, and offer smiles while crossing paths.
College Senior 2013-01-27T04:38:14Z
Free, walk in or by appointment tutoring for students needing assistance with all grade levels of math, science, and English. We have a gym that is available at no cost to students. They offer free one time courses in various departments. For example, they offer a small class 'introduction to computers', as well as more advanced software ( Word, Excel, etc.) 'how-to' courses. The Student Support Services program offers a career strengths course, to help identify individual career related needs and likes. Our landscape is under construction momentarily, but I love to sit by the pond between classes. (Generally, I pray) :)

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid office at Aims in Greeley has a great staff. They have always been polite and helpful to me. When I have questions, they find the answers, and do not turn students away. They give estimated amounts and dates, and generally come through with their word. Aims also has an amazing faulty. The professors are very eager to help their students succeed. The tuition is worth the education, as well as the professors, friends, and experiences you meet along the way Because of Aims, I enjoy most subjects. I have even learned to find algebra fun. Amazing!
