The student body at Aims is excellent. They want you to succeed, they are more than willing to answer questions in their free time. The first time that I encountered the student body they were more than willing to make me feel comfortable and at home

I am disabled and Aims Community College has exceeded. They make me feel special, asking if there is anything that the teachers can do to make me feel more comfortable in class. They want to ensure success with all their students.

The Greeley campus offers many opportunities for any interest. They encourage students participation in strange areas to broaden personal horizons.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education is always going to be worth it to spend money. the most important factor is being able to succeed. I think financial Aid is a great help for students with economic issues. Aims is always trying to help students pay for college and be fair with the tuition.

I believe the quality of post-grad services at school are pretty good. Everything depends on your field and how well you are to work on it. Experience is on of the biggest factors and the most you learn the bigger are the opportunities for you.

Mostly, my school consist of an ethnic body. there are different types of cultures and people with the same goal, to get educated. The Marjory of the students are very sociable and they are all trying to seek for a better life. Teachers are incredible, they always help with the student needs. they are very nice and they are always happy to help with the students success. The class rooms are normal, not to big not to small. The class rooms are educational and people is always working hard in class; hey try hard to concentrate in their work. The school has interesting and educational programs, which help to develop a learning environment. Some people not only go to school but they also work. They try hard to pay school and some of the to fit their families. Some students have babies, which is another priority for them after getting educated. In my school there is not discrimination about sexuality, religion, political preferences or classes. Everybody treats every individual with respect and acceptance. There are some challenges in our school, this are demonstrated by using skills and determination. This type of challenges help you to develop leadership, knowledge and experience. Diversity of people and gender is not really a problem. Most students get alone and like to make new friends, even though their priority is to finish a career and educated them selves for a better life and to have a successful career.

Aims has a pretty diverse student body. All sorts of ethnicities, ages, and races. Gender ratio seems to be pretty equal. Students seem to come from all sorts of financial and social backgrounds as well. And as far as I can tell, nobody seems to be discriminating against anybody else.

Overall, I have had a wonderful experience at Aims. I would not have anything to complain about thus far, except in the Spring semester 2012, I had a teacher that I was NOT impressed with at all. This teacher cancelled class a lot without very much notice. Also, this teacher did not grade anything throughout the semester except for one assignment from the very first day and our essays that we had one-on-one conferences about. Other than that, not one thing got graded or returned to us. According to Aims' Online portal to classes, the teacher did not even view any of the submitted assignments. The teacher also did not respond to emails and when the teacher did, it was two weeks or so too late. Several of the students asked the teacher about this and all we got for a response was that "it would be caught up". The teacher never explained to us why or ever apologized for it. I contacted the superior and also forward this issue to the dean. I got a response from one of them that said the matter would be dealt with and apologized for the situation. However, even after this, none of my assignments were viewed, but I somehow ended up with an A in the course. I guess I can't complain about that, but I'm here to learn, not to be given grades that I don't earn. I also heard from most of the other students in the class and it was the same situation for all of them...I don't know what their remedy to this situation was, but all I know is that this teacher is still working there and teaching classes. I never heard anything back about the issue, which is what disappoints me. This situation is the only reason why I would not give Aims an A+.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I'm giving this grade because it was a hassle, and the financial office people wouldn't tell me when I had a red flag up I had to ask. I don have a car so every-time I went in she would tell me I had to bring a curtain document. Then I would bring that document in and then she would tell me I need this other document... It just wasn't fun at all.

I give an A+ because its a really good school the teachers do there best to teach you and to make sure you are ready for any tests, they want you to succeed, the advisors are so nice they try to help you to fix your schedule if your a part time worker, like myself. It's, just a great school.

Some classes are during the day, which a working person would not be able to go to. Luckily, there is a great selection of night classes.

Sometimes they try to get people to join the academic but it is never interesting enough to care. People just usealy go on with there day and ignore the academics.

Aims has a lot of majors to choose from and it is easy to make up your mind when picking a major. although they trap you by making you taking classes that are not important but required.

I have just recently changed my major from Radiology to Automotive. I wont be much help in the Automotive just yet, but i can say that the Radiology program is very well planned out and simple to follow, but hard to keep up with.
