I attend school online so I dont really interact with the student body much.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am using any and all financial aide for school, but its ridiculous our funds mandatorily go on a Discover card instead of allowing direct deposit to a bank account. Plus I have to do some things every semester I should only have to do once a year...such as promissary notes.

Aims is helping me reach my goals in life, which is all I really need in a college at this point. Some of the professors are not willing to work with student or help in any way but at least completing the class gets me credit for it.

I haven't used them, but they are a good thing I heard

The computer speed is average at best but it gets more points as its has all of the best software a student could possibly need as well as very good network speed.

Excellents Staff and Facilities – Aims CC has some of the best facilities a Community College has to offer, and its staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help out.

Melting Pot – Because Aims is a Community College, it does not have the typical student body of a four year school. Because of this, it does have an extremely blended group of people, ranging from the young to older, black, white, Asian, Mexican, able bodied as well as handicapped. All of which have an equal opportunity to better themselves through furthering their education, and career goals.

Student Instructor Program – The Student Instructor or SI Program is not only unique to me but is incredibly helpful. The program allows students to get together with a former student who excelled in the course, who help u study and prepare you for the test.

Lots of Older Students – The student body has a large over 30 population, and they work hard and really try to succeed. The students are very friendly and always seem willing to offer a helping hand.

Great Starting Point – Aims is a great place to start your college career. It gives you the tools needed and will inspire you to continue your education at a 4 year college. Instructors are fantastic and care about the students and want to see them succeed.

I dont know if other schools have this option but they have a program called "work study" where the school actually pays to work around the classes.

Day and Night Classes Were a Big Help. Because of my busy work schedule Aims offers different class times to make getting the classes I needed easier. Plus my teachers were very helpful if I had to miss a class because of work. I also like the fact that I had e-mail access to my advisors and teachers.

I really like the small class rooms. The teachers have more time to give a student help and are very approachable. I am an older student and my teachers were very understanding and helpful with all my questions.

Online Course Review – I liked the convenience of the class. I was able to be at home with my kids while taking the class. I didnt like that the teacher didnt really interact much and it took her a while to respond back to my emails even though she was online at the time. Also I think that there should be some kind of reminder about upcoming assignments and their due dates!

The computer network is ok . Some of the teachers could use a little more understanding of technology but other wise its great.

I love the college and the teachesr. They are all definately there to help you. The only thing that i didnt like was my online class it could use some work on organzation and interaction with the students. Im not sure if it was the teacher. I am trying another class online though. I would recoment the school to other people.

Great Classes & Teachers – I have really enjoyed the classes there, both online and in person. Even though its a "community" college, they still treat you like a responsible adult. I like it.

Great Computer Labs – Plenty of computers that work well. Great network. Printing is pretty cheap, and they give you starting money when you start the semester. I've never had to pay out of pocket.

Aims has a workout center that is free to Aims student and Staff. It is BEAUTIFUL. It's essentially a rec center.

Great Starting Place – I love how cheap it is for a quality education. It's a good starting place to take your pre-requisites for an affordable price.

Great Resourses – They seem to care that students succeed. Great resources.

School Is Great – I like Aims and the instructors, well the majority. I had one in Business Law Online that was rude, made assumptions, and did not return all emails.
Otherwise, my accounting instructors were great.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
