Alabama A&M Sports are average, better some years then others, my freshmen year (2006) The Football team won the SWAC Championship title, and a lot of other sports teams did too.

The Cafe – Pretty decent. If u have a meal plan I would suggest you eat there. I did. I never went hungry. The food gets repetitive, but it serves its purpose. Plus, the cafe is a popular hangout spot.

Pretty decent school. Easy to get caught up in partying, so you must stay focused. From my experience, teachers seem to care about students.

I LOVE IT – I can't speak for everyone but I love Alabama A & M we have a lot of fun. My first year I really enjoyed and my sophomore year was even better. Social life is cool but honestly I don't see how peoples social life outrule their academics because as long as you prioritize you should be fine. I feel you get both the college experience and life skills here time management and balance is the key!

Best of Both Worlds – I'd definitely have to say drugs aren't a big problem at Alabama A & M University, but it does vary with the group of friends you have. Most people just smoke. Drinking takes place more, especially since people are getting of age to drink now. So you'll get a taste of both drinking and smoking at our campus...to each is own!

What to Do?!? Nightlife for students 21 or older is pretty much cool. There aren't many clubs for 18 year olds to get in. Most clubs are 19-and-older. However, I will say skipping the clubs and going to a set or house party can save money and you have just as much fun. If it's sports season there are always events to attend and now we're working on getting more on campus activities for the evenings as well. I'm pleased!

Walking to Class – its hard when your classes are so far from dorm and you have to walk in snow and then you get there and class is cancelled

Party After Exam – Students from different places with different backgrounds will get a chance to stress themselves with a lots of school work. All these hard works and strees should definetly pay them what they deserve to get. AT the end of the day students need to have fun by hanging our with friends to get refreshed and be ready for the next challenge. The neight life at AAMU city accomodates all safety regualtions for those students from the age of 18 and above according to their status to have fun and enjoy the warm fresh air of the city of Huntsville, AL.

Living on Campus – The dormitary life of AAMU is not quite impressive as the rest of the universitys in the city. But it is not somthing that people would say it's bad or not standard. I would say it doesn't have that much extra caricular activities between different dorm buildings and so on.

Mc.Donalds Near AAMU – Yep, Mc.Donalds is one of the nearest fast food restaurant to AAMU that students and faculty memebers would usually go for lunch. Not only the nearest, but also the cheapest fast food place i would say.I personally goes to Mc.Donalds other than it's convenience and cost wise, because it's a good place to meet new people from different background as well.

Campus Life – Campus life is excellent at Alabama A&M University. Students are friendly and like having fun. There are many organizations on campus to help keep stdents busy as well as parties.

Bulldog Transit System – The BTS is a campus uses many busses to help students get around camp. The bus comes ever 5 to 10 minutes and takes student from class to class or even in the front of there dorm building.

Computer Speed – The computer speed varies depending where you are on campus. If you are in a dorm, the speed is very slow. However if you are a the library or in a classroom the computer speed is very fast.

I LOVE ALABAMA a&M UNIVERSITY – Alabama A&M is the place to be. This shool has so much to offer. There is ALWAYS something to participate in on campus and is usually free. Friendly staff and students. We are one of plenty HBCUs but we are the best. Here at AAMU we have a clean and safe enviorment. The lunchroom food is great and the staff know how to have fun and take care of business.

AAMU CAMPUS POLICE – We here at Alabama A&M University just as other schools do have campus security. Our security does not go snooping around but when they see illegal activity taking place they are right there to take care of that particular situation. Do what you feel is right and there shouldnt be any problems because they are very friendly people.

Alabama a&M University – I am at Alabama A&M University because it is one of the best HBCUs around. We have a beautiful campus and very gifted students. We aslo have some very well-educated professers who were also AAMU students. The work loads can get to be a bit much at times but its all about timing and being organized. Here at AAMU help is always available.

Needs Work – As a commuter student, there is a definite need for a new transportation plan: the layout, accessibility to campus buildings, and parking spaces/lots.
Recent Alumnus 2010-04-02T19:21:20Z
I am under the impression it is available, however I am a commuter to the graduate program, as many of us are; but housing appears accessible.

Guys & Girls:
Guys and Girls – This area is difficult to review, seeing as how I am in a graduate school program and engaged. At the education level and age level that most graduate students are, the relationships appear to be more similar to business-professional relationships.

How Greek Students Are Viewed by Non-Greeks – Well on AAMU campus we have a lot of students who are Greek but the majority of students are considered "individuals." Non-Greek people feel they don't need to be in an organization to define their personality or character. They also feel that sometimes Greeks go to far with the underground hazing and demands. That you would not regularly have to go through on a average day. And, the change process after turning Greek, a lot of people loose friends, relationships because their outlook on like if totally different after turning Greek. So non-greeks for the most part don't have respect for Greeks.

Menus/Meal Plans – The cost of a meal plan is very expensive, it is either suppose to cover 18 meals or 21 meals for the week. Every student who has a dorm room must have meal plan as well. So I guess you would kind of expect some well prepared and tasty food. The menu is so high school, it always includes hamburgers, pizza and sandwiches. Which things are cool but not everyday, maybe they can make food that makes you feel comfortable and at home. Rather than a fast food, get it and go type of place.

They are just a little above average. They are working towards building us an athletic facility. That will offer a bigger swimming pool, volleyball, weightlifting, basketball court, student center and will accommodate more students. The problem now is that the space on campus is too small for the number of students enrolled.

For a Large HBSU School – There are a lot of diffrent people here which I 'm very use to. This is a HSBU school which. Most people here are black adn consequence we have reputation to being a school of black. I never though I would see a white person here.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
