Some students think that A&M has strict rules and policies, but it really isn't that strict. The girls and boys have a curfew for visitation, but occasionally visitation gets taken away in the girls' dorms because some girls will try to sneak in guys after the curfew. Normally, the curfew is set for 12 a.m., meaning that all boys must evacuate the girls' dorms by 12 a.m. and the same rule applies for the girls visiting boys in the male dormitories. If the dorm mothers catch a boy in the female dormitories or a girl in the male dormitories after curfew, visitation will be temporarily taken away until the dorm mothers say otherwise.

The campus police are always patrolling around campus. If students are doing something that can potentially be harmful to others or to themselves, the campus police will not hesitate to embarrass you. Some think that they are too tough on students, but they're really not. They're just trying to ensure that all students are safe.
