The facilities on campus are pretty good. Of course, the LRC, Learning Resources Center, is a popular and well-used facility on campus. Students are always piling in the LRC to do research, study, finish up last-minute homework, or to just socialize. When you really want to get away from your room and all of the distractions, you can always go to the LRC to stay focused. Another popular facility on campus is the gym. Pretty much the gym is always filled with students and faculty. However, it tends to be less busy in the mornings and on the weekends. In the gym is a bowling alley that students enjoy. Unfortunately, to participate in on-campus bowling, students have to pay a small fee. Students cannot swipe their ID cards and bowl for free.
The Greasy Spoon is a fairly new eatery downstairs in the Knight Complex. This is the only restaurant on campus. Sadly, it is not free for students, as they cannot get a meal by swiping their ID cards. The prices are reasonable, for the amount of food you get. In the summertime, there is a small ice cream shop that opens for students. The ice cream is a little pricey, but you do get a lot of ice cream. Unfortunately, at A&M, there are not a lot of places for students to chill. Most students chill downstairs in the Knight Complex, the library, or in study lounges.
