Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Overall, campus is a safe place. There are campus police almost everywhere on campus, so students don't really have to fear that they are in an unsafe place. However, it is still wise for students to be cautious at all times. The best advice to girls is to never walk around campus alone at night because A&M is an open campus, so anyone can drive on campus at any time.

Even with campus security, it's hard to determine if someone off campus is a student and supposed to be on campus. Young women need to be careful when they are walking around campus late at night. Travel in groups when it starts getting dark. It is definitely better to be safe than sorry.
