The school has a lot of places that can help you with whatever you need; The skills lab, library, advisors, tutors. The internet is also extremely fast, and free wi-fi, so you can help yourself whenever needed as well.

The student body surprises you. Most people are actually extremely adamant about getting good grades and being involved in the school.

Most teachers are very high quality, and actually care, especially for a community college.

We attend a Planet event every year and in compassion to some four year colleges, I think we do very well. Our greenhouses are energy efficient and are power by solar. We strive to makes our campus as sustainable as possible. We are constantly changing the look of our school with new improvements every year! I really admire the instructors. They care about their students on and off campus and constantly raise the bar. They make me want to be a better person.

Ive online taken one online class, which was a hybrid so i came to the class room one time a week. I liked working online , you did work at your own pace and don't always have to commute to school.

Ive had a little struggle in classes academically . The good part is that if you get atleast a C in a class it will still transfer. Not all classes you take are college transfer classes , so you really have to pay attention to that.

For the most part everything you need computer wise, is available to you. The wireless connection goes out from time to time, or doesn't come on at all. Those people using laptops cant do there work.

My school has blood drives that students can plan and recieve credit for. We also sponsor a WW11 reenactment that students in Psychology class can recieve an A for attending.

Our computer lab when it is running, it is excellent but if it goes down it may take anything from minutes to hours. Most of the time it is up and running like a dream.

My classes range from online to classroom and since I am a full time employed individual it is helpful to be able to work and attend school. The hours that my class meet is also helpful. It gives me just enough time to grab a bite to eat and get to class on time.

Eventhough ACC has no dorm, it has a daycare for mothers to attend school. The classes are very affordable and the lounges help kids to study. There are several computer rooms to help type your reports also therefore, there is no reason to fail a class.

Some, like other colleges goof off. It is an easy going campus. Always a smiling face when you walk through the door.

Many students at my community college are hard-working and studious. There are many interesting clubs to join and students are open to conversation. The students here are often weighed down by responsibilities at home, but still manage to bring a smiling face to class every morning.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The Financial Aid process is generally very smooth and simple, but if any problems arise it can be difficult to get in touch with the financial aid office. I am very thankful to the school for investing in my education, and I hope to be in a position to help a student with my difficult circumstances one day.

I am currently a history major, and I intend to study Medieval history. There is one Medieval History course offered, and the professor spent the entire class trying to convince her students that the Middle Ages was the wort period in history. There are many other history courses offered, and I have enjoyed them, but this class was a disappointment.

Many of the professors here are very helpful, but some of them lack objectivity. This creates a learning environment that lacks legitimacy. Another reason I did not give this school an A+ is because of the counseling. I was unaware of many of the classes I would need for transferring until this year because I met with a few different advisers who gave me conflicting advise. The school is very helpful, though, and have gotten a lot out of the classes I have taken here.

So far my experience has been hassle free. My credits transfer and the classroom settings are excellent.
