I am in the Dental Assisting program to get my Dental Assisting Certificate. In order to get into the program a student must be admitted. A student must apply, have a certain gpa and have taken certain classes. Only 30 people are admitted into the program each year. The program is highly convenient because it is only a year long.
The school has a good reputation for helping you find a job in your field after you have graduated
The professors show interest in helping the students succeed. All of the academic adviser's are very helpful. If you have a question, and they do not have the answer for it, they will contact somebody who does. They go out of their way to make sure you are taking all the right classes.
There is always room for improvement at any facility. I feel that at ACC they hade taken the students' welfare into consideration and done a fine job in supplying the necessities.
This grade would be equal to a 3.0 which would be a good grade to carry and a GPA to be proud of, even though there's nothing greater to pat yourself on the back for than a 4.0 GPA which is what I often strive for. ACC is a people based institution where the instructors will go that extra mile to help the students learn. Also the work-study programs are very rewarding in training the students for becoming more productive citizens of society. Also, ACC have access to various fields of study giving students a wider range of career options. This is great because people have so many different interest and goals, here they have choices.
