My financial aid process experience wasn't too bad, even though I didn't get all the money I needed to pay for my tuition. APU was really good about helping me find scholarships and other funds in order to help me pay for college. If it wasn't for the help and the scholarships I received for my first year I don't think I would be attending this school. I do suggest that the financial aid adviser meet with the students, to make sure that the students are on the right track and make sure that all the documents are submitted properly and on time.

The student financial services office is very helpful. I suggest approaching them with any questions or concerns and they help find money for students.

APU did a great job finding me scholarships that enabled me to attend, without which I wouldn't be able to afford the school. The Student Financial Services director and office staff are very helpful when dealing with all financial issues, and the director sends regular email updates with new scholarship opportunities he's come across. The Dean of Students is also very helpful in making sure that students can make ends meet, and coaching students into wise financial decisions.

Predictable responses to request for financial aid at APU; fill out FAFSA, apply for government or private loans or contact TMS (Tuition Management Services - an independent company) and pay them to finance your education. No scholarship assistance other than an occasional email of online scholarships someone found while surfing the web in their office at the college.
