Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Overall, Albion College is great for a number of reasons. The small campus makes it easy to make friends immediately and meet new people. While living in Albion can be boring at times, making the most of it is sometimes what will leave you with the most memories. There is a sense of community on Albion’s campus that is hard to duplicate anywhere else. This isn’t to say that everyone gets along, but there is a certain bond between all Albion students.

Albion’s liberal arts education is something that also seems to be unique to the College. The professors are approachable, and their excitement for their courses is infectious. Even when you’re taking a class that is not related to your major, you appreciate what you learn and are proud of what you’ve learned in looking back. Beneath the exterior sometimes, Albion is just a down-home friendly kind of place, and a lot of students seek comfort in that and learn to love where they are.

As a Recent Graduate, Would Trade My Albion Experience

You cannot replicate the Albion community. I found the most amazing group of friends and an incredible support system. The professors love their subjects and have a passion for teaching. It truly is the people that make this place so amazing. I wouldn't trade my Albion experience for anything.

The Briton Experience

Albion is a top-notch school. The campus is small, but you're not on top of other students. There are beautiful places to study outside in the summer and quiet places to study on cooler days. The academics are chanllenging, but the professors there know their stuff and are willing to help you whenever you need it. This is my favorite place to be.

I did not find my niche and...

I did not find my niche and friends until my sophomore year, and until then I did not like Albion very much at all. If I could do it all over again, I would have researched more carefully. I did not pay enough attention to the academic departments and students. I wish that there were more classes and professors, and the small school population can sometimes be suffocating. I feel that I might have found a school more suited to my particular interests and needs had I looked longer and researched more carefully; though, I do consider my two years at Albion very valuable.
