Some students loathe the Michigan weather at Albion, and others love it. The first two weeks of school can be unbearably hot, but after Labor Day weekend, things start to cool off progressively until winter. Then, it's time to break out your winter coat, hat, scarf, and gloves, because even the shortest walk across campus can leave you shivering all over. Spring doesn't really start until well after spring break, so most of the time you'll be covered from head to toe.
Dressing in layers is always a good option because Michigan weather is so unpredictable. For that same reason, you should invest in an umbrella. Just be prepared for all four seasons, and let the clothes you bring match accordingly.
