You will definitely have the opportunity to meet new friends, and most importantly, new acquaintances. Just know that the population is very diverse and you just have to make yourself presentable. If you do that, you'll make plenty of connections
The best thing you can do is get to know your advisors, professors, and other students on campus. A lot of the faculty have connections or internships they can connect you with. All you have to is work hard and express your interest in reaching out to other people.
it depends if you want to attend a small college or a large college. Do you want the professors to know you on a personal level? I go to Albright and I love it! I am even graduating early.
I don't know anything about Temple but I love the small class sizes at Albright. I had a professor go through my paper with me after class one day and explain the comments he made for about 15 minutes. I wouldn't have been able to do that if my class size was 60 instead of 17.
