Public safety will drive you to and from campus to the woods apartments, giant, and wawa. They also offer Mall Monday, Target Tuesday, and Walmart Wednesday.

Albright is a pretty small school so the majority of my classes are 25 people or less. This creates a great learning environment. The science building has just been renovated as well. In 2011 Albright was also ranked among the 25 most artistic schools by Newsweek. I participate in three singing groups here and I love them!

I live in a freshman dorm. The rooms are a decent size, but sometimes its a little loud. So, next year I hope to live in the honors dorm if there's enough room. There's free laundry in the basement which saves A LOT of money! My dorm is also very close to campus and I can be at my class in 3 or 4 minutes. It's also easy to switch roommates if you need to, as long as you fill out the paperwork before the deadline.

The Albright cafeteria was just renovated last summer so everything is brand new this year. The meal plans include a certain number of meals per day plus Bonus Bucks. You can spend your Bonus Bucks at Jake's Java which is a little coffee and snack stand in the lounge or in the restaurant downstairs. There are also pizza and Chinese places that deliver to the dorms.

Albright offers a shuttle system which takes students to the mall, Target, and Walmart on different days of the week. Grocery stores, CVS, and Wawa are all only a few minutes of walking from campus. Freshmen cannot have cars on campus unless you park on the street.

Quiet. Good Residence assistants and a good, friendly environment .

The computers at Albright are very reliable. You can get you work done and not have to worry about anything going wrong because they are well protected by anti-viruses. The printers on campus are nice as well. At times the network can be a pain in the butt however that is only if you move from one place to another and all you have to do is sign back into the wifi.

I gave drug and alcohol a C+ because it is college, you can not expect there not to be parties and drinking. Even though some of the students who don't drink can get annoyed the drinking is controlled rather well.

The staff his is wonderful they are always around with open arms for anything you need. If you need one on one chats just to have some one to talk to as an adult the staff is very welcoming to that.

The Technology aspect of Albright is second to none! There are computers everywhere! The school even has it's own unique "apple lab" filled with simply apple computers and things from apple. A personal computer/printer is not a necessity as much as it is a perk at Albright. It's not drastically needed, you can always get to the library and get your work done with relative speed.

Being in a specific program at school gives you a sense of "belonging" per say, for the lack of a better term. You are surrounded by people whom want to see you excel and share your common interests. I enjoyed my time spent at the school personally and I think anyone would. Also, because the school is relatively small, you receive a lot of attention that most students crave for at large institutions. The workload for my concentration, Criminology/Sociology wasn't too bad. I mean of course there were days where i felt as though I was drowning in long and extensive readings that I had to do analysis on but all the same, if one does not procrastinate then it is not that bad at all. You'll have ample time to complete your work.

When I was enrolled at Albright, as an Criminology major I felt as though my first year was excellent! Although there were some courses that I don't think should have been in place as a requirement for everyone to take as they were simply time consumers and really had absolutely nothing to do with the major concentration.

I haven't had the opportunity to have an internship yet due to extenuating circumstances. I would love to have one, once I get things situated w/ these circumstances I'm bound by.

We are not in any major college athletic leagues, but we do make some Championships. I am not very familiar with sports on campus, but Football is the biggest sport, followed by basketball, swimming, and volleyball. Softball and baseball, field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse come next. Tennis and golf are often forgotten. We also offer intramural sports.

Greeks do philanthropy work, but they are extremely cliquey and snobby towards non-Greeks. They have a reputation of being "catty". They do throw lots of parties, and they have the reputation of being unfriendly, even towards each other. There is also the "pledging" process, which can turn aspiring Greeks against their non-Greek friends.

There are quite a few diners to go to. Temple Diner and 5th Street Diner are the best, by far.

The dorms at Albright College are average. Mohn Hall is the academic dorm, where I live, and it is great for doing work and hanging out with friends. There are lounges on every floor and somewhat large bathroom facilities. The lounges separate the girls from the boys, so you are always roomed next to your own gender. The halls are almost always quiet, so getting work done is simple.

My experience here has been great so far. The teachers and other faculty have all been really helpful and I've met some amazing people.

The teachers are always there to help, and the free tutoring offered in a large variety of classes make even the hardest courses easier to understand.

I'm a Studio Art major at Albright College, and while the professors are excellent and still very active in their field, there isn't much variety in the rograms offered. The traditional painting, sculpture, and photography is offered, and both are excellent, but if you are looking for anything other than that, there aren't many options.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
