All Access Shuttles – There area shuttles that will take you anywhere at anytime. Every night they make a special trip to either the mall, or other shopping centers in the area.

Limited but Still Very Fun – The personal favorite here is the hookah bar which is close enough to campus to decide to go on the spur of the moment. This place is well priced and almost always has some amazing music and entertainment. Second best best is house parties, either on campus here or Berks campus at Penn, Kutztown if you feel like a bit more of a drive.

Health & Safety:
Take Advantage of Public Safety – Despite the noteriety of Reading, within the parameters of campus there is never a reason to feel unsafe. The atmosphere is definitely inviting and feels very safe. The Public Safety officers are also very friendly and take any concerns seriously, so do not hesitate to visit or call on them often. When walking off campus it is a good idea to ask a Public Safety officer for an escort, which they will happily provide as long as your not asking for a ride out of town.

Home Away from Home – The title pretty much explains it. Plus, here, when it comes to your education, you can major in anything. Pick one, two, or even three concentrations (Albright's replacement word for "major").

A Tight Knit Community – Albright College is known for being small. That's where the fun comes in. If you want to be on a campus where you know almost everyone, then pick Albright. It's also very diverse and has a lot of clubs, fraternities, and sororities. So join the fun and apply at Albright!

Once a junior, a wave of people start looking for their own apartments or forms of housing. I mean, it's more freedom at a lower cost. Definitely worth it if you can find a place! Albright College is considered "the middle of nowhere", so at times, it's hard to find a place to live. But once you find a place, you'll be content!

Parking tickets are given to like every student and if you live off campus its a process just to park in the morning between the public safety tickets, town tickets and the hour parking areas. If I could change one thing about Albright it would be the parking situation. Especially in the winter when there are snow mounds all over and its impossible to find a spot.

It Is What It Is – It is pretty fair when it comes to punishments and policies you know your consequences before hand so if you choose to get into trouble its your own fault. They have dry dorms for students under 21 but they also allow you to drink if you are of age. Public safety can either be your best friend or your worse enemy. It is all what you make it.

Guys & Girls:
A Place for Everyone – Everyone has their own place at Albright and everyone pretty much expresses themselves freely. It sounds corny but it is like one big family. You meet new people in your classes, the library and even in lunch.

Computer Labs – Our computer labs are very decent but they arent the best. They do work most of the time however they cost you money to print things. In our school we have many computer labs however nobody really uses them because its not that great of quality.

It Is Very Dreary.. Although most days the skies are very grey, it is a fairly nice area for weather. I come from two hours north and there is about a ten degree difference, which is wonderful. Where it would be snowing at home it is calm at Albright. Class is hardly every canceled due to weather related issues.

To Each Their Own.. I cannot say that it is a completely drug free campus. However, drugs are never seen. Those who may use drugs keep to themselves. There is zero peer pressure. Because it keeps such a low profile, there is little reason to enforce policies due to the little knowledge that it exists on campus. Alcohol use is much more likely and is controlled by rules and regulations.

Although many students are a part of the Athletics on campus, they don't seem to be the most important thing. Academics and Greek life seem to rank higher on the list. Our teams are about average in their performance among other schools. We seem to have an average sense of school spirit, but it depends on who you talk to. We have a very small campus with a very diverse group of students. Out facilities are wonderful though. We recently renovated our fitness center and gym. More people are likely to go there now.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
