If you're in Greek life or on a sports team you will always have people to drink with an a place to go. If you're not, you're out of luck unless you're 21 or a girl. Sports parties are out of control and expensive to get into, but the girls generally go there cause they get in cheaper or free. The Greek life parties are usually mixers, which are exclusive to the two organizations the mixer is between, however Pi Kappa Phi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon usually have parties on Thursdays and some Fridays which are open. Alpha Sigma Phi things are almost always invite only and if they don't know you don't expect to get in.
As for clubs and bars, Sam's Goose House has specials on Thirsty Thursdays for 75 cent Natty. It's cheap and a ton of people go. But, with the college kids come the townies (Reading locals). Not people you want to mix with. Some nights are great but others are EXTREMELY sketchy. other than the Goose, less popular bars and clubs are the Pike, Building 24, Captains Cove, Forest Inn, and Reverb. These tend to be townie ridden. The only other semi-popular bar for Albright students is Legends, which isn't too bad, just inconvenient to get to.

Parties? More Like Social Gatherings – If underage here at Albright, your nightlife is going to be pretty much close to being non-existent. There isn't much to do. Yes, there are parties; these "parties" shouldn't even be classified as such because all people do there is stand around and converse as opposed to dancing and having a good time as they should. But if one isn't underage there are a few things that you could do, such as maybe grab a drink or cocktail at the local bar which isn't too far from the campus.

Limited but Still Very Fun – The personal favorite here is the hookah bar which is close enough to campus to decide to go on the spur of the moment. This place is well priced and almost always has some amazing music and entertainment. Second best best is house parties, either on campus here or Berks campus at Penn, Kutztown if you feel like a bit more of a drive.
