It almost seems as if every major storm decides to avoid Albright College. There was only one bad snow storm this winter that effected our classes, but there are not many opportunities to have a snow day. Classes are close to the campus dorms, so bad weather does not really effect getting to class, so the teachers do expect attendence everytime.
The dining hall has a tendency to only prepare great food during high school and recruiting visits. Other than that, the food seems to be the average college campus quality. I can definitely appreciate the variety of choices though. There is always something new to try in the cafe. There are only two other places to eat on campus. Jake's Java is very expensive but they sell starbucks products. Jake's Place is popular because of their late night snacks and quality food.
Varsity sports are usually attended by friends and family. There are constantly empty seats at every varsity sport game. The training facilities are good for both atheletes and non atheletes. There are various options of machines to work on. As for IM sports, only boys and girls rugby are significant.
The library has many computers available to the students. The printing limit is 60 pages per day. The wifi is very reliable which is sometimes upgraded along with the Albright website. While it is not necessary to have a laptop or printer, it is very convenient to have them.
Most of the time the weather is really nice, but it snows and rains a lot here too. However, it doesn't really make it hard to get to class.
