The police force is pretty okay at Alcorn State University. They are very cautious of the license plates and stickers because they are aware of intruders on campus. They are always on the alert of drug abuse in the dorms, such marijuana. They are always on the look out to give you a ticket for speeding on the shoe as well.

The parking is not as bad as it seems. It just the simple fact that you have to be there early enough to get a parking spot and a good one at the most if you do not intend on walking a far distance to get to your vehicle, especially on those bad alcorn weathery days.

Parking on campus is dreadful. There aren't enough parking spots by the brand new dormitories for all of the occupants to park. Or people end up parking so far from their dormitory, they might as well park their car where the class for the next day is. Students must get to the parking lot right after another class ends in order to get a parking spot before their next class.
