K-9 Beat

The local law enforcement does not have internship spots. My goal it to become a K-9 officer. I plan on working with a local kennel this summer to receive additional training.

NO Transportation Blues

While the campus is small and compact and within walking or biking distance from town, it has no on campus or public transportaion. This will pose a difficulty fot those students that do not have cars on campus. And it will definatly be a problem if you get caught between campus and town if it rains or snows.

Old School Parking

It has just enough spots for every one. Cars are not really need at the campus. Philippi is in walking distance only about 5 minuets away. If you are wanting to go to a bigger town. Morgantown is a hour and thirty minuest away. Then is you wanted to go the city Pittsburgh is two hours away. The campus is small so it will only take five to ten minutes to class.
