The facilities on campus seem to be similar to that of many other campuses. We have new and old buildings. The best part about the old buildings is that they are reminiscent of times long past, as many have a medieval feel. There is even a castle on campus. Many think the gyms need to be modernized, and this is true to some extent, but a better alternative is to build a new one. The Davis Gym houses the oldest indoor track in the nation and stands as a testament to the days of dumbbells and medicine balls. Most are willing to put up with this in order to keep a vital piece of 1920s American history around.
There are two libraries on campus, which should more than fill your need for information. Both libraries are situated toward the middle of campus, so it doesn't matter which side of campus you live on. If you're looking for something to do on the weekend, there is always a movie to catch in the Nevins Theater. It is located in the Arthur and Lea Powell Campus Center. Some of the newest movies are shown every Friday and Saturday night for a steal.
