Mostly Good Experience

I have only encountered one teacher, in which the class I truly felt I was not getting my moneys worth. Other than that, all the teachers are amazing and I feel I get a whole lot out of each class. I must say that the people at the financial aid office are usually pretty rude, and I leave there feeling pretty let down by the school.

I'm Happy With My Choice

I'm happy that I made the choice to stay at Hancock rather than transfer to a university right out of High School. Staying at home has made it difficult to stay true to school though, due to all the distractions. I have dropped many courses, and I believe it's because of my decision to stay. I feel I've learned a lot and grown quite a bit since high school, and when I do choose to transfer I will truly be ready. I have heard stories of other community colleges, and I'm sure my school is superior to most.

Works Around My Schedule

As a working, single mother it's great to find a schedule that can work around my hectic life. A few morning classes and one night class gives me the ability to be available to work a full shift at work and still attend school. The availability of online classes also allows me to see my daughter and still have some quality time with her. The only reason the grade isn't an A+ is because I've never attended another college, and therefore have to way of comparing it to any other college environment.
