In considering their time at Allegheny, most students are very thankful for the education they received and all the great people they got to know. There are so many different kinds of people and points-of-view that students are not encouraged to do anything they truly don't want to do. Most people feel that they have really grown and changed as a result of the Allegheny experience, and in a good way.
There are students that have regrets or were in some way disappointed with their Allegheny education. Meadville does not provide the kinds of opportunities or the nightlife that a big-city university would. Succeeding at Allegheny is a lot of work. It takes a lot of time and effort, and for some, it might not be worth it. Allegheny isn't perfect, but for the majority of people, they wouldn't trade their time at Allegheny for anything. Even the people that came to Allegheny because they didn't get into their first-choice university usually find that, in the end, Allegheny was the right college for them.
