Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews or information sessions generally coincide with the campus tours.

Campus Tours

Campus tours run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call the Office of Admissions ahead of time to schedule a tour at (814) 332-4351.

Overnight Visits

Personalized overnight visits are for high school seniors only, and these prospective students can only visit Sunday through Thursday during preferred dates. Prospective students can register for an overnight visit online through the Admissions Web site.

Prospective Weekend

For one weekend, you live with an Allegheny College student and follow them everywhere to see what life at Allegheny would be like. For more information, call the Office of Admissions at (814) 332-4351. During this weekend, there will be events scheduled by the school, and during the big perspective weekend (one particular weekend), there are opportunities to meet faculty and administration. If you go on a perspective weekend, remember that you are getting to know one student during one weekend. It might not really tell you what four years would be like with all of campus.

Did You Know?
  • Make use of your tour guide when you visit. Have lots of questions prepared about everything from the food to the health center. Allegheny tour guides are happy to keep in contact with prospective students after the visit, as well.
  • An overnight visit is the best way to get a sense of Allegheny College's students and late-night activities.
  • Grab a latte at Grounds for Change or try to slip inside a dorm when you visit. Checking out the places off the beaten path of the campus tour is the right way to see the true Allegheny experience.
