I received a D in my online College Algebra class. Taking it online was a lot harder than I expected. You were able to do everything on your own time but it really takes time management skills and motivation. I was very disappointed with this grade but it proved to me where I need to practice and improve. The workload is pretty evened out. If I would have done one assignment a day I probably wouldn't have fallen behind.
Since I am only an online student I do not get to interact with the students face-to-face. I do get to meet them on the discussion boards during our classes but never talk to them on the phone or in person. They all seem to be sincere and willing to do the job that is requested during classes.
In the business world there will always be some sort of job that you can do once you graduate. I am currently working full time in a business and I use almost everything I learn in classes to improve my work habits.
Well worth the money. I am only taking 2 online classes each semester so it is relatively inexpensive. I qualified for grants and scholarships.
I asked for accomidations with my IEP and the school is so small i got absolutley NONE. There isnt many classes open for hours to be flexible you dont have many options. I havent had a good experience the school isnt diverse and even if it was the other students and some teachers dont adjust well to variety of people. I cant wait to transfer to a large and more divrse and flexible Institution.
