I love the flexibility of the classes thats online versus a traditional classroom. I work full-time so this helps me alot.
College Junior 2013-12-03T20:37:45Z
I wouldn't know because this is an all online school. The school is a 2 story office 4 plex building.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am going to an all online school, so you have to be very discipline and teach yourself. Reading up on the chapters without having someone go over gets a little challenging but doable. I am getting my moneys worth for what I am paying. each class is about 500 only.

The best thing about my school is that it is online. This helps me because I can do my studies around my work schedule. The course materials are interesting and I have learned a great amount thus far.

My school is an online only university. With that being said, there is no athletic department. There is a great online library and student center that is accessible 24/7.

My school is an online only university. However, they have an awesome online library and student service department that is very helpful. If I have an issue, my student affairs adviser helps me immediately.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
My school has a great financial aid process as well as a tuition assistance program. Due to the government budget crisis, I have exhausted all my financial aid and do not have the expenses to pay for further education. Other than that, my school is really good at working with me on getting my education.

The faculty and administration have always been available whenever I needed them. The teachers return my emails about the classes in a very quick manner and always have the answers for me.

They have a very strict class schedule you MUST follow

Be Warned, if you complain about anything, they will kick you out. Allied only cares about getting paid.

This will be my first year attending college. I'm the first person from my family attending college.

Allied has made me want to be a more disclplined student.

I have really learned alot at allied american university, especially in refrecene to my current job in banking.
College Senior 2013-08-22T15:36:08Z
not sure what this is but i have not issues with the school
College Senior 2013-08-22T15:29:48Z
Allied is a good school, however in my opinion it takes a long time for financial aide to be made availble to the students account, so if you are expecting a refund it comes almost two months after school starts.

My classes as a Criminal Justice major have not disappointed me at all. They are related to my major and challenge me. I thought I had an idea of the system and what occurs, but I am finding out I know less than I thought, which isn't a bad thing. Taking these classes is making me more knowledgeable of my major and what goes on in my field so I feel I will be prepared once I gain a job in my field. Plus the classes are very interesting and the discussions are often fun.

Staying connected with Allied and my instructors through Iboard has been easy, hardly any problems at all. Just plan to not to do anything on Iboard when maintenance is being conducted so you do not lose any work you are doing like a discussion board post or a quiz. The need for a personal computer is a must, especially for those like me taking the courses online and living far away on the East Coast.
College Junior 2013-08-14T19:14:52Z
The resources at Allied are very good, since I am taking courses online, I thought it would be more difficult to accomplish my studies without access to the student library but Allied has resources that students online can use, which has been a big help in my courses so far. I use other resources but I tend to trust and use what Allied offers instead.
College Junior 2013-08-14T19:10:44Z
The Academics at Allied are amazing, the professors are very knowledgeable in their field and always answer questions that I have promptly. The interaction they have with the students is excellent, during discussion boards, they will ask further questions to challenge their students to think and learn more. Receive very good feedback from instructors and they will let you know when something is not correct and show the proper answer.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I received the military tuition, which cost less, it was a big relief. I got a textbook grant as well. The process is smooth and they definitely know how to assist you in getting all the information you need to receive financial aid. My AAU representative taught me a lot during the process, and I know I can always ask him questions.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
