There are many computer labs, the technology in the classrooms is great and also they have a media hub where students can check out different items they may need to complete a project.

Alverno College is located in between the city of Greenfield and Milwaukee. Greenfield is a beautiful, clean city with cute little shops and parks, and has a lot to offer. I prefer Greenfield to Milwaukee. Milwaukee's south side area is not safe, it's dirty and full of bad people. I'm glad Alverno College is located in a safe area, closer to Greenfield, because it is an all women's college.

There are lots of options for all types of eating habits, although the salad bar is pricey.
College Sophomore 2013-10-24T03:47:20Z
Alverno College does not provide any transportation.

I have eaten here multiple times and have never had a negative experience. The staff are friendly and are always willing to help you out. For example, I wanted some tomatoes for a salad of mine, and the worker went in the back and grabbed some just for me.

Alverno offers a number of majors, but not a huge variety. They do not at all cater to continuing education or adult education as they do not offer any evening classes
College Junior 2013-08-31T16:49:45Z
The computers are average not amazing, but work just the same
College Sophomore 2013-08-28T00:06:46Z
They have many things to offer that other schools dont.
College Sophomore 2013-08-21T18:16:23Z
The process of getting into my Nursing major was relatively easy. I didn't have to do a special application process when applying to the school and there wasn't a waiting list either.

Health & Safety:
Feeling Safe on Campus – The moment I steped on Alverno's grounds I felt the warmth, energy and friendliness of a college community. I am very familiar with the neighborhood around Alverno, which makes me feel more confortable and relaxed. As far as campus crime or neighborhood crime I don't know the rates but as long as I've lived a couple blocks down the road I've never felt unsafe!

its not really a great atmosphere. its a long walk to get to any type of store but a short drive. not everyone has cars and no bus takes us out there where we need to go to like walmart, movie stores, etc. its far from downtown but the good thing about that is we could take one bus out there.
College Sophomore 2013-08-16T04:14:17Z
The building at the college are in great shape and there are plenty things to do; also there are many places to study quietly, talk with friends, or study.
College Sophomore 2013-08-16T04:12:17Z
The housing at Alverno college isn't great but its livable. A lot of things are broken and/or don't get fixed properly. I would suggest better repair company or something so that we are living comfortably at the dorms. The good about the dorms is that everyone interacts with each other and if we need anythings CA's are around (2 on every floor and on duty) to help us in anyway.

THE WORK LOAD IS VERY INTENSE DEPENDING ON YOUR PROGRAM/MAJOR
College Junior 2013-08-06T19:27:44Z
CAMPUS IS BEAUTIFUL. TEACHERS/ADVISERS AND COUNCILORS ARE VERY HELPFUL. JUST VERY EXPENSIVE, HARD GRADING SCALE TO GET USED TO.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
