The dorms at Alverno are extremely spacious and have high ceilings and large windows. The rooms in Austin Hall all have built-in shelving units, drawers, spacious closets, and a sink accompanied by shelves and cupboards, so students do not have to bring as much of their own furniture or storage containers. Rooms also come equipped with cable and Internet hookups, as well as a microwave and mini-fridge—for no extra charge. Austin Hall is a community, and students from all different years live together on wings.

Currently, Clare Hall is going through renovations that will eventually make living there awesome. Students will have their own fitness center, computers labs, and laundry facilities on each floor. Each room will be a suite and have the same accommodations as Austin, but more updated. Living on campus is quite convenient and is not just for students who are right out of high school. Clare Hall offers students of all ages a place to live that still gives them freedom, as well as the convenience of living on campus. Some downsides to living on campus are that there's no air conditioning, less freedom if you live in Austin Hall, and you live with women all day, every day.

Dorms in Alverno College

I dont live in the dorms,but the people who i know live in dorms dont complain about them. I hear the upperclassmen dorms are better equipped and much more classier, than the freshmen and sophmore. The only thing they mostly complain about is the price of living on campus.

Dorms and Social Atmosphere

The dorms at Alverno College are very convenient. They are located at a very reasonable distance from the main buildings. I enjoy living on campus because of these conveniences and because of the social atmosphere. I have met many people from studying in the lobbies of the dorms and also in the coffeehouse. The social atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming for everyone.

Don't Live in the Dorms

But my classmates who do don't complain! There are coffee shops hosting regular events in the two dorm buildings. Students have a choice of a single or double in rooms.
