Advice on Finding a Job/Internship All students are required to do at least one internship while at Alverno. Psychology majors need to have two internships, and majors such as teaching and nursing require various field placements and practicums. The Career Education Center is an amazing place for students to get help with their resumes, cover letters, and figuring out what kind of careers they want to pursue. The staff in this office is excited to do whatever it can to help students. Jobs on campus are posted between the business and financial aid offices on the second level of the Liberal Arts building. Getting a student job on campus isn’t too difficult, as long as you keep your eyes open.
