LaCage

Billed as Wisconsin's largest gay bar, LaCage has weekly drag shows and nightly DJs.

Ladybug Club

Ladybug has good DJs, and the dance floor is usually bumping.

Rain Nightclub

A fun place to come dance, there's a moderate-sized dance floor here. Ladies can get in free if they come early enough.

Buckhead Saloon

Thursday is ladies night, where you and four friends can get free covers, a table, four sample martinis, and $2 martinis until 12 a.m. There are other weekly specials, including happy hours.

Club Anything

This is a student favorite, mostly because this club caters to students. Your student ID will get you free beer from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Hot Water

Come here if you're in the mood to dance. There's a 1,500-square-foot dance floor, and Hot Water caters to every kind of dance style: swing, tango, salsa, and even ballroom. Come check out the free salsa lessons every Saturday.

Mo’s Irish Pub

Drinks are affordable here, especially during the happy hour during the week. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Miller Lites are $2 and well drinks are $3. There is also live music several nights a week.

McGillicuddy’s

McGillicuddy's is an Irish pub, complete with Guinness, Harp, and Bass beer on tap. There's also a patio and outside bar, which is a fun place to be when it's warm outside.

Rookies Sports Club

If you're looking for some cheap food to go with your drinks, look no further than Rookies. Monday night you can get 40-cent wings, and Tuesday's special is $1.50 for tacos.

Water Street Brewery

This brewpub has some delicious microbrews, including a raspberry wheat beer. They have a regular selection on tap, in addition to many seasonal brews.

Rosie’s Waterworks

Come here on your birthday, when you'll get free drinks all night in a special birthday mug that you get to keep. Show your college ID on Wednesdays for $1 shots and $1 domestic draft beers.

Fitzgibbons' Pub

Fitzgibbon's is a laid-back place to come enjoy a beer with some friends. Fun fact: this bar is more than 100 years old!

Elsa's on the Park

Elsa's is a trendy little bar with a martini menu and some great wings.

Gametime

Located across the street from the Bradley Center, Gametime is a great place to come after a game. However, it can get quite crowded.

Major Goolsby’s

Goolsby's has been ranked the No. 1 sports bar in Milwaukee for 30 years. There are tons of TVs showing lots of different games.

La Perla

This is also a restaurant, but the bar side is a fun place to come for strong margaritas or to ride the giant red pepper!

The Rave

This is a concert venue that hosts local and regional bands, in addition to national acts, like All-Time Low, The White Tie Affair, and Weezer.

Hifi Café

This cool little café has a great atmosphere to go along with its great food and coffee. There's free Wi-Fi and an old-fashioned jukebox.

Comedy Café

Another fun comedy club to check out if you're not old enough to get into bars or just want a fun night out.
