Most students who have made it through the majority of their years at Alverno say that they cannot imagine being anywhere else. In fact, many students who leave Alverno to go to other schools because of finances or because they didn’t think Alverno was a good fit, often come back. Alverno is not just a school—it's a place that teaches women to think outside of the box and to understand themselves. It becomes a home for many people. Alverno graduates go on to become important women in their workplaces, communities, churches, and homes. The College offers students a unique opportunity to take a really good look at themselves and say, “Who am I?” and “Is this who I really want to be?”

Most people say that going to college is an investment in your future, but coming to Alverno is an investment in not only your future, but also your community’s future. Almost all students who graduate from Alverno get a job within six months of graduation. Its graduates are competent, well-rounded, and have made a name both locally and internationally. At Alverno, students are pushed to analyze documents, literature, and one another. They are also encouraged to continuously self-assess and focus on their success.

My school is unique because its able to deliever effective learning skills that we can apply to our daily life. But I don't think I would choose this school again if i could do it over again because the tuition is expensive and commute can be a hassle.

Alverno Campus

The campus is small and easy to get around. The people are very friendly. You are on a first-name basis with your professors. TThe environment is very comforting and a great place to study.
