Managing Your Time. It depends on the course and the teacher whether it is a good course or not. I have had online teachers that are awesome and work closely with you and others that are unprepared and will not work with you.

Looking for a New School – After being there for a year and a half I have come to the conclusion that no matter how cheap the school is it's not worth it. At all.

Lacks Creativity, Does Not Feel Like a School – The entire facility looks unbelievably sad. There are no coolers in the entire school, it lacks unity and pride, the students who go to the school do not feel like they are going to a place of higher education. The only thing sometimes getting me to go to the school is knowing that I can someday get out. I do though like that it is cheaper and a few rare teachers are exceptional. It has no dining area, the library is probably the saddest area of the entire facility, and the classrooms are bland and have the feeling of being in a high school ISS room.

Online Course Experience – I have taken one online course this semester. It is difficult for me to understand what is going on. I need to be in a classroom with an instructor.

Campus Computer Network – The computer network is slow at times. E-mails do not always get through.

Resources on Campus – The hours are hard to arrange around sometimes. The computer lab and math lab were helpful. I have not been to the athletic center. I like the fundraiser bar-b-que's.

Accepted With Pride. I had many reservations about going back to school. Amarillo College has embraced me with open arms. I enjoy going to my classes and have learned so much in a short amount of time. I have and will continue to recommend Amarillo College to others.

Post-Grad Services – Because I'm only a freshman, I don't know too much about the post-grad services yet but I know we have a career center in the student services center.

Online Course Experience – I've only had 2 online courses but as long as I keep up with them I have no problems. With these courses I only have to do lessons once a week instead of 2 or 3 days a week. Sometimes it's harder to balance those because of all the work in the campus based classes. But the professor is always available through email and office hours at the phone or on campus if you have problems or questions, but the student interaction is kind of non existent online unless you have class discussions.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition is about $1,000 a semester, $1500 for music majors, like me. The education is above and beyond what they charge. The financial aid is easy to use and all you have to do is talk to the student services office. They make everything really easy. They even give you the opportunity to talk to them about getting scholarships within the school.

Most of the student body at AC are willing to help if you are having troubles. There are many clubs to join to help you advance as well.

AC Convenience – AC is very flexable with the courses. They give up to 5 abesnces before it starts to hurt your grade. The scedueling of classes around work i a breeze

The graphic design department as a whole is wonderful. The work is challenging yet doable IF one is committed to their choises. There are a few classes that I personally dont see a need for but gotta do them for the degree. I only wish AC offered a bachelors degree

Best Experience EVER – Coming to Amarillo college was the best thing that I have done in improving my life thus far. It has provided me skills and refined my skills that I currently have. The instructors are AC are there for you, and they understand that you do have a life and things do come up that are beyond your control. They do push you to succeed and show you how to be the best that you can be, and allow you to make the choice in doing so.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Amarillo College FA Office is awesome, there system that is laid out for the students to get and out as fast as possible. If you are unprepared with having your needed information they will hand you a list to take with you so that you know what you need to bring to them and when the deadlines are for those documents.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Aid Department – This part was the most confusing for me and they helped me out with everything. They don't really have time to help you on the phone but if you come in they sit down and walk you through it.

I'm an advertising major that recently switched from graphic design. My program is awesome. So far I have had amazing teachers, great hands on experience and have met some pretty cool people. The teachers understand when life happens and so far I haven't had any classes where they haven't.

Im Just Here to Learn! So far my experience has been ok. The classes are good, but just like any small town college student i am just ready to be done!

Friendly, Efficient School – I love the small campus that offers big choices. Classes that support the economic development in the area as well as giving opportunity to move forward.

Post-Grad Services – I personally do not know of any post grad services. I'm sure they exist, but I decided not to look too much into it until closer to the time of my degree.

Uniqueness of AC – The main thing that sets Amarillo College apart from other colleges, even other community colleges is it's Graphic Desing program for print, animation, and web design students. They have a specific program for GD students to help them succeed. They're also really good at scheduling around work schedules or family time.
