I love my online classes, they are easy to function and to follow along with.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education i'm getting is very well worth the money paid for it. Its all very well put together.

The main reason I chose this school was because of how flexible the class schedules are. I am able to work around my personal schedule, which is great

I was nervous about taking online classes for the first time, but after I started the class it was simple. The workload seems easier to handle, and you can do homework or work a head in the class if you do online classes, however in class rooms you work with the class and you stay all together. If you are more fast pace student online will be great for you and if your a slow learner it will be easier also, because you don't have to keep up with the class. You can go at your own pace as long as you finish before the due dates.

Honestly, I haven't used any of these services yet.
College Senior 2013-03-25T21:43:57Z
Of the 27 college credits I already had, only 6 of them tranfered for my degree plan. For this reason, I don't think they are very flexible. I am paying for school myself, so attending the closest university is out of my reach.

I like you can do fast track courses, they are doing two semesters worth of class in one and you get all the credits for two classes and makes you further ahead in your goal.
College Junior 2013-03-17T01:53:45Z
I do not incourage online classes due to the fact you have no one to help you, and you have to learn everything on your own and have to worry about deadlines

physical therapy is a good field is a good career to get into, it takes time but in the end it will pay off there is such a demand for it and good money
College Junior 2013-03-17T01:46:10Z
you really have to talk to your instructors about whats going on in your daily life and they may work with you, but some are strickly to the book
College Junior 2013-03-17T01:26:35Z
I wish the staff was more helpful when first starting college, because its nothing like high school. its all about how much effort you are willing to put toward your career and there is no turning back. You don't get time to slow down and make up any work either.

I am able to keep a part time job, go to school, and do other things in my spare time because the flexibility is so amazing.

The classes offered are amazing and the professors are great.

Sometimes the Professors are a little mean or hard on their students but the relationship is really personal when they're good.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very reasonable. However besides your pell grant they really dont help you find any other grants that could help you pay for school if you dont qualify for a pell grant. The financial aid office seems to be busy procesing other things and dont have time to sit down and help you find extra financial aid.

Amarillo College has many resources for students. Given that this is a 2-year community college, I was very impressed by the number of programs that they have to offer. The have 3 campuses here in Amarillo. The main campus has all of your science, art, engineering, and mass comm. They also have a gym, a large library and they have two museums. The west campus located in the medical district houses all the medical programs. The east campus has all of the equipment to teach trades, such as welding and plumbing. Overall Amarillo College is a very impressive school.

The student population consists of people fresh out of high school trying to transfer to a four year university.

I have not graduated from this college so I have not had an experience with this.
College Junior 2013-03-05T23:58:43Z
Its designed well and all it takes is effort from the students.
College Junior 2013-03-05T23:58:01Z
Professors aren't very flexible on late homework but other than that they are great
College Junior 2013-03-05T23:56:17Z
The labs are great and almost every building has a computer lab for all the students to use.
College Junior 2013-03-05T23:53:40Z
They are helpful and will work with you until they find what works for you.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition is much cheaper than other alternatives, such as the four-year university in the next town.
The FA department is super helpful and financial assistance is really easy to apply for at AC.

We're a two-year community college, but our journalism program, our nursing program, our theatre program and the various art programs are top notch.
Also, because of our massively diverse community, the college has an equally diverse student body - both in regards to ethnicity and age.
College Senior 2013-02-21T23:35:15Z
There are literally open computer labs in every building. You can print in most labs for free or a small fee. And the wifi is exceptional.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
