Online Class Review – All my classes that I have been taking from this college have been online. I would rather take an online class instead of sitting in a classroom, except for the Math or Accounting classes. These classes are very hard to take and teach yourself because it requires a lot of hard work.

The professors are really good about answering any types of questions in email and has live chats once or twice a week in order to help students be able to understand what is required each week of the course.

The school website is very easy to navigate and easy to figure out where to find things. AIU Online has been my college since 2009 and I have nothing but good things to say. I have been able to get a Lifelong Learning Grant which has helped me through school.

Because AIU is an online university, all levels are accepted regardless of ethnic, economic and political choices, and this is what makes this University spectacular.

Academic Flexibility – The academic flexibility at AIU is wonderful. As a wife and mother I have the opportunity to meet my academic goals with AIU. I also have a full time job, so with the online classes that AIU provides it gives me the chance to be on the go or at home to study, take care of my family and I can still have a social life.

Resume Portal – When I enrolled into American InterContinental University, I was given many options in terms of my degree of choice, but AIU also has a link called Resume portal, where you can either download a resume or build a resume and based off the information on the resume, they have instructors that can help me fine-tune my resume so employers can see my full potential without the resume being too long and focuses on the facts.

This is the perfect choice for me. I looked at other online schools and none had real class time, and if they did I had to attend class when they said and if I missed it my loss. Perfect for working families, or busy parents. Best choice I made. I got my Associates and now completing my BA. I am guided from beginning to end and even after. I have extra curricular outlets too. Great School.

Wonderful Experiences:Before, During, and After – I was guided throughout my pre-college and during classes. I was advised at every turn and even have a "counselor/adviser" contact me at least every other week to check up on me. I was very nervous at first about having to learn on your own if I had any questions what should I do. Although I'm on line I am never alone w/ administrators or teachers. I even have real "class time" and if I'm working or busy it is archived for me to get to on my schedule, I looked around many online schools don't have that, or if I didn't understand something everything is right there for me. I love this school I came here as a transfer student from a traditional school, in which I enjoyed but my life changed so my college choice changed. I have earned my Associates degree here and am continueing with my BA. I love this school and I even had better help with filling out finiacial aide paperwork and all other administration papers better than my 18 year old freshman sister at a traditional school. My people are right there with me. I call them and I get a response back w/in one day, even faster at times with email. I love this school. I even have "friends" from the ":common" and in a school poetry group. And after I graduated with my Associates I was contacted by the school for people to help me find work. Great school during all phases of attendance before you are a student, while you are attending, and after graduation.

Based upon the classmates I have interacted with, the student body consists of a diversity of ages, ethnics, and economic backgrounds. We have something called Discussion Boards where we learn about each other at the beginning of the course. It's very amazing and inspiring to read about the individuals background and their need to do better in life.

There is a plethora of information on the American Intercontinental University website. You just have to know where to look. Your textbooks are also online for the ultimate convenience to use wherever you are. Once in your Bachelors program, textbooks are then sent to you in the mail. There is also an option for tutoring for free if you need it.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition turned out to be a couple thousand more than previously thought it would be. The student advisors are great with keeping in contact with you throughout the process, as well as, the financial aid department. It was a seemless task. They did the majority of the work for me.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
