Great Instructors – When these instructors tell you that they are there for you they mean it. From previous experience they are not all there although they say when they are trying to get you to enroll. I have experienced truly compassionate people who care whether or not you succeed. That is an awesome feeling.

College Alegebra Included College Students and Srudent/Workers – Course was very complex, but had very involved professor who expressed and showed his intrerest in getting every student to grasp as much understanding as possible. I feel I learned a lot after failing the same course a few weeks earlier. Professor Rudolph made the class interesting. Even broke the large class into several smaller groups. We were able to meet and communicate with one another.

Online Classes Are Amazing – I have enjoyed going back to school completely online. The flexibility allows me to still work full-time and run a household while still working on my degree

I really liked the quality of questions that were presented--they did not feel like the run of the mill types as you get in college classrooms (busy work). The assignments made the student think in real terms and we quickly learned how to apply it to our own lives. Peer to peer interaction was pretty decent, overall. Emails and phone numbers were handed out regularly and discussion boards were always flowing. Professor/student interaction is a lot less though.

The only hassle I had with AIU Online was their psychology curriculum which was quite lacking. The financial aid was always easy and comprehensible though. I miss also having live chats as we did in AIU--they helped a lot with one on one time with instructors.

Efficient to Access – At American Intercontinental University, obtaining an online education is easy and efficient. The Virtual Campus makes it easy to access the student center and Cybrary (Cyber Library, which link you to various references relative to your research topic. This is useful in not being limited to one specific resource or having to open multiple windows on my computer to access different resources.

The Academic Advisor Are the Bomb!!! This is school can be set apart by one thing, they care. The academic advisors are always on their game and they are focused on the student(s) and not themselves. They are encouraging and supportive.

Classmates Are Wonderful – From my experience, I have met some wonderful people at AIU. We talk on the phone, personally email each other, and text one another back and forth. There are students from all over the globe. I have had classmates from the Virgin Islands to basically right in my back yard. There is no judgement of one another, no prejudices. A wonderful adventure!

Access Availibilty – Technical support is available 24/7. You can online instant message or call them. The learning labs are a great help, especially for a first time student (out of school for 20 yrs) learning how to cite and reference in the APA format. They have some minor, minor technical difficulties, but for the most part, you can speak, chat, or email someone every hour of the day. Very willing to assist.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Help You Through the Process – At first, I was undecided about taking online courses. Once I started talking with an admissions adviser, she made my decision for me. She even helped me through the FAFSA process. I truly believe the education I am receiving is worth every penny.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Well during the time that I was deciding on which school to attend, the Advisior Stephanie Shaw was not very clear at all. I feel like she lied to me to make the cost of the school seem more feasible. When in actuality it is more expensive than the other school that I was considering. Also, I dont really understand the way that this school disperses financial aid. I thought I would receive an overage to help with school related expenses but instead I ended up having to come out of pocket.

I go to an all online school although they do have a campus in Illinois. But they have a lot of groups that you can be apart of online. It is awesome to show group spirit even if its over the computer.

There was a large range of post-graduate courses available. I obtained my post-grad from another institution as I was unhappy with the admissions office's ability to aid me in the process when I wanted to attend.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
