Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Academics at AIU Online are challenging, yet the level of student retention is fairly high. At the start of a class, the requirements on the syllabus may look a little harsh, but assignment completion is easy when you dedicate yourself to your work. Not many students have to spend more than a few hours per day, two or three days per week, working on readings and assignments. Procrastination is strongly discouraged, but if there is a week where you only have one day to work on assignments, you can still make out with a decent grade. Also, try and read the assigned chapters as early in the week as possible, and make sure to attend or review the recording(s) of each class chat.

Everyone has a different experience in college. Some students thrive in traditional schools, while others do better with a little more independece, which online schools can offer. If you enjoy setting your own schedule but still love working in groups and interacting with others, then AIU Online might be right for you.  Here, you can still get the education and preparation you need to land a job and form great teams with co-workers without the restrictions of traditional institutions.
