It is much easier for you to find a place by yourself through craiglist or renting a room.

Campus food is horrible. The only good thing is there is a subway on campus.

I attend American International College for occupational therapy. I like this school because it is has a decent size class and all the professors know you by name. It is easy to talk as well as get in contact with them. They are always there to help.

I am a commuter to American International College and do not have a meal plan needed to eat in the dinning commons, mainly due to the price. I do however eat in the hive, which has a pizza place, subway, and grill works, along with some healthy choices. The food I have had hear is decent and the pricing is average.

American International College offered me the presidential scholarship as part of my financial aid package, based on my high school GPA. It did take a while to fill out fasfa and get everything in, but once all that was completed and the school year started a few more scholarships came in. Though it's a lot of paper work, it was a pretty smooth process.

American International College is not affected by the weather often, but if there are any threats they keep the students updated and will close the college when necessary.

The freshman dorm are not the best but they not bad you have everything you need table, chairs, desk, closet and a bed. some of the amenities are you have a water fountain down the hall incase you get thirsty and the dinning common is only 10 ft away, the social atmosphere is great being a small college you become a close knit group.

The Campus police are friendly they can be strict at times but for the most part they are pretty chill

I am a marketing student i have not had an internship yet but my teachers are very helpful and do everything in their power to help students succeed. Whether if you need a job or trying to figure out what you want to do once you earn your degree.

Springfield, MA is developing. I seek it's opportunity

The parking at AIC is paid by semester. The one semester is $50 for commuters and $125 for residences. There are several parking lots available around campus and they fill up quickly before classes start so get there early. If the lots care full you find a spot on the road side.

AIC HAS ITS OWN SHUTTLES FOR THE STUDENTS. IT BRINGS YOU AROUND CAMPUS AND TO THE SURROUNDING BUILDING. IF YOU NEED TO GO FUTHER AWAY THE PUBLIC BUSES ARE RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF CAMPUS.

The weather is pretty normal. We have all four seasons that's about it.

Guys & Girls:

There's not that much off campus housing unless you're living with your parents. And if there is it is not in a good neighborhood.
College Sophomore 2013-08-02T17:10:52Z
The food is often very repetitive and not always very good

My major of choice is Communications. The program at A.I.C. is very tight nit. It is extremely accessible to interact with professors and other students who share similar interests to yourself.

The American International College is surrounded by alot of historical landmarks. For example, the city of Springfield, Ma is where Basketball originated and Holyoke a neighboring city is where Volleyball orginated. There are plenty of museums and U.S. history nearby.

There is a shuttle on campus but it does not transport students from anywhere outside of campus grounds.

Guys & Girls:
Most girls are nice, but a lot are very immature and are only there because their grades gave them a lack of choice when it came to colleges. The rare good looking girls are either taken or stuck up. I can't judge the guys because I am not gay, but as a friend aspect, most of them are pretty chill and you won't see too many tools walking around campus.

Average academics. Easy course work, and they help you as much as you want.

Hot in the summer, chilly in the fall, cold in the winter, nice in the spring. Snows A LOT in winter, but typical bipolar New England weather.

Workload is very average. Not too much handed to you at once. Classes are easy. Exams are easy if you pay attention. Not many exams, usually just a midterm and a final with a few papers thrown in. Being an athlete and a student at the school is not overwhelming. It's actually quite easy.
College Sophomore 2013-07-16T19:25:04Z
the shuttle is great for getting around and its free!
