there are very few things to to in Springfield and the area is not so great, but the people on campus are what make the college worth attending.

I very happy with my degree program. If I had to do it agian I would the advisors, tech surpport, financial aid, and staff are great. They all work together to make sure you are successful. My career goals at this time is to continue to be the GM of a reiremetn home and work my way to Regional Manager in a few years. At this time I don;t have any concers, because I work for a great company that dosen't mind educating their employees.

My process of getting into my program was easy. I applied on line and in a short period of time an Advisor called. He asked a few question, set me up to take a questionaire, and help my hand up until my first class session. Quincy Giles was the best he made follow up calls and emails to make sure I doing ok and if I needed to change classes he would expalin how that would work also. So my over all admission was great!

The food is okay. It is very general but they try to hear what the students want and cater to it. They have been making improvements. There is always the good days and bad days. I wouldnt say its exceptional but it beats cooking for yourself every meal.

Campus is nice and small. The grounds crew does a great job of making the campus look aesthetically pleasing and the cleaning crews are constantly cleaning around campus. Another good thing is that we are constantly working on updating the buildings and materials in classrooms.

I don't really have much to say about the off campus housing because I've lived on campus my whole life. However res life does a good job of posting off campus housing up near their office, I just don't know what that whole process is and the number of choices.

The financial aid help you get from the school is amazing. The staff in the financial aid office do everything they can to make sure that you get the money you need, and they point you in the right direction in terms of scholarships. Another nice thing about AIC is that every student get a Merit Based Scholarship, so no one really pays the full price of the school.

The nice thing about the food at school is that they do their best to appeal to any flavor you may want. Another great thing about it is that they are very open to change. Anything you want in the DC they are open to bringing. The food in general is good. Is has its good days and bad days but overall its a good experience and there are plenty of really good local places that deliver as well. Try Wings over Springfield and Red Rose, great places.

Each fraternity or sorority has like 5 people or less on campus.greek life pretty much is non existent. They throw partiest sometimes but they arent all that great
College Sophomore 2013-04-06T01:44:10Z
Their programs are very good and they have a alot courses for you to choose from things like wine tasting and sign language. A whole bunch of options. The teachers are good for the most part, and your advisors are a big help their door is always open and they are willing to help you

Pretty Average. I have only just started my second semester so I haven't seen everything but things are pretty laid back here. Campus police are nice and friendly they don't want to get you in trouble. Pouch is the all-girl dorm and quiet hours are a bit more important there than in the other dorm halls. The quiet hours don't really matter anywhere else. Academically, each class and each professor is different. Some classes are very easy and little effort needs to be put into them. However, other classes can be very demanding especially if you want to do well in the class or need to do well for your major. Like everything else in life, you can get a lot out of this school if you want to; you can be very involved both inside and outside the classroom or not it is what you make it.

almost every one is involved in some sports but only football is exciting and still the crowd is usually very small
College Junior 2013-04-05T20:45:34Z
There's so many places to eat! prices are fair and food is good. there are a lot of delivery options too
College Junior 2013-04-05T20:43:52Z
The campus isn't in the best part of town. Finding an apartment isn't too hard but if you want to be safe you have to be further away from school
College Sophomore 2013-03-20T03:33:13Z
There isn't much to do unless you have a car.and the parties aren't usually that fun
College Sophomore 2013-02-28T21:27:35Z
The schools courses are fair, but at times you will get the professor who is hard to understand or seems to be "too old."
College Sophomore 2013-02-28T21:23:40Z
The shuttle doesn't really have a schedule and is hard to track, especially when the drivers decide when to go on break without notice.

Health & Safety:
I believe that the campus is very safe. There are always campus police ready to help you or walk across the campus when you need it. I feel safe on campus all the time.
College Sophomore 2013-02-27T23:36:58Z
I believe that there is always parking on campus in the commuter parking lot. There may be not that much parking in the Resident parking lot.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
